Ollie's Bargain Outlet

Their commercials say that people drive from miles around to shop at Ollie’s – and I believe it. It’s a close out merchandise store and they carry everything from food to hardware to books to seasonal items. They have carpet and linoleum rolls and framed artwork and linens. Its not all of the highest quality of course, but if you’re just looking for something to get the job done it’s a great place to start. This store is larger than the one further south on Rt. 2 and it has a Just Cabinets section attached which sells finished and unfinished wood cabinets and furniture. more

Ok, we LOVE Ollie's, plain and simple. Ollie's is a great way to spend a free afternoon, because you truly never know what bargains you'll stumble over. On one of my past visits, we spent hours JUST going through books during their huge book sale. To pay a small fraction of the publisher's price for some wonderful books for every hobby and taste, well that was just FUN! On the same trip we bought cleaning supplies, a toy and a lunchbox, just to give you an idea of the things you'll find. While most of their items are closeouts, that's fine if you aren't terribly picky. A towel is a towel, if you can get it for a fraction of the retail price just because it's an 'off' color, do it! I've also gotten a queen size, plain WHITE bedskirt for $4.99, so it's not just the odd stuff they sell! A bargain hunter's heaven, head to Ollies' for some hunting fun! more

Ollie's is one of those great finds in terms of stores--they buy things in bulk and buy things from stores that no longer sell them/have an overstock. So Ollie's is pretty much a warehouse store. They buy stuff cheap and sell it to you cheap. And it's all brand new stuff! For example, I get a 100 foot of wrapping paper for Christmas for $1.29. It's great! They sell books, clothes, toys, food products, kitchen products, household stuff like towels and rugs and brooms. They have everything. Good selection of stuff...an amazing price for the stuff and I think they are a great store! more
