So we wanted pizza. We've eaten in the restaurant before and it was alright, nothing to write about though. The pizza, however, was insanely good. And the bread basket had focaccia which was worth the trip alone! Beth was our waitress and she was friendly and attentive. While we waited for the white pizza we feasted on side salads with some flavorful vinaigrettes. Yum. The pizza had fresh mozzarella, zucchini, artichoke, squash and red peppers. All the ingredients were cooked perfectly. I don't know how else to describe this meal. It was just more than I ever expected.

We recently bought our entire living room furniture from this store and are very happy with the quality and the price. They have quite a lot of choices and prices are reasonable. The staff is also helpful. The store is very kid friendly and they have a big snack area, which has popcorn, juice, candy and freshly made cookies. It also a big fishpond, which keeps the kids, entertained.

Down the Hatch has become the local hangout for young people of the area. There are always people there. It is a gorgeous location, and if you're on Candlewood Lake, you can easily pull your boat right up and eat outside if you'd like - which a lot of people actually do. If you're on the lake, you can see it because it is around the bend from Candlewood Inn and has blue and white striped umbrellas.

2nd time at Antonio's...marvelous. First of all, the food is phenominal! I ordered the Al's Seafood Chicken, and my husband ordered the Pork Osso Bucco. Delicious! We had Lisa waitressing on us the first time, very nice girl, knew what she was doing, loved it. We had Jessica as our waitress 2nd time around, she was fantastic!...great service and a great meal is exactly what we were looking for and we'll definitely be back!

I usually buy my outdoor plants at Peter's Imports. I find the staff knows much more about whatever I need to know than the staff at big places like Home Depot.
Once in awhile, although I'm not sure when - they have a gardening class where they talk about all different types of flowers and plants and how to take care of them, when to plant them, how to keep the deer away, etc.

I visited here with family on vacation. It's a great restaurant with beach food (sandwiches, burgers, fries, hushpuppies). It's especially fun to go at night when you can watch the boats out on Candlewood Lake.

LET ME START BY SAYING, I'VE BEEN TO KOLAM IN NEWTOWN (NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN) AND TO THE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN NEW FAIRFIELD (i forgot the name)
and India Kitchen has the best food and service hands down. Once you start going there, Jimmy will remember your name, joke w/ you and take care of whatever you want. The prices are good and I never leave experiencing and off night. The food is consistent.
When I want Indian, I go to India Kitchen in Brookfield.
I've referred many of my friends/family/clients to India Kitchen and they all end up thanking me!

Brookfield Lanes has bowling for everyone. They will put in bumpers for kids, and they often have parties.
If you go at night, I would call first because there are some nights that they have bowling leagues, and there are a ton of people there.
Overall, it is a fun place though.
