First time I've ever been to a Chiropracter. Dr's Pierce (Chris and Huma) are friendly, instructional and talented. It was scary at first to hear my body snap, crackle and pop as they performed various adjustments on my spine, ribcage and neck. At one point, my eyes must have been very wide after a big neck adjustment because Chris jokingly said, ""Don't worry, it's still attached."" I appreciate their sense of humor and careful attention to my concerns. After many visits, I feel much better and have significantly more flexibility than before. I highly recommend their services. more

I was in a pretty serious car wreck and was lucky to walk away with a just a couple big bruises and what i thought was some mild whiplash. About a year later i would turn my head and have stabbin pain in the middle of my neck. I didn't know who to go to because it's hard to tell one chiropractor from the other, until i met Huma. \r Her 2 treatments were all I needed to live pain free (except for the obvious ""slept on my desk"" neck pain once in a while). Not only did she adjust me- which instantly made me feel better, but she took the time to walk me through the exercises and ""do's and don'ts"" that strengthened the muscles and ligaments that ultimately lead to a better posture and a stronger back.\r \r I couldn't thank her enough and have total confidence in her ability. Huma is also on the on the Rules Advisory Committee for the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners OBCE which means her peers have exceptional confidence in her as well. \r more

I'm an active person who has had back pain for as long as I can remember. I've seen many chiropractors over the years and this is the first chiropractor who took an x-ray of my whole back and made a plan, not only to tackle the pain areas but the other areas where I was compensating. I went to Chiropractic 1st for massage treatment prescribed by a separate chiropractor after an auto accident. They tried charging the insurance company a far higher rate for the massage than they advertised on their website, so my insurance company wouldn't reimburse them at that inflated rate. I saw doctor Christopher Pierce in less than two minutes after showing up. He knew right where my back hurt without me telling him, amazing. The most thorough exam I've ever had. He adjusted me and it felt better immediately. He looks like he is floating around the table when he is adjusting like a dancing ninja or something. His hands are really really fast but gentle. I can't explain how he knew right where to adjust but he adjusted it all, even my ribs. Don't bother with any other chiros, this guy is the best I have ever had adjust me and I've been to a bunch of them. I have been a patient of Chiropractic First for over three months. I initially sought treatment due to severe pain in my neck. I had tried visiting general practitioners and an orthopedic surgeon for my neck pain. Nobody had been able to help me at all; not even physical therapy had worked. My doctor at Chiropractic First told me X-rays would be taken at the beginning of my treatment, then at the 3 month mark, and also at other future times. I recently viewed my 3 month X-rays and was able to compare them to my initial X-rays taken when I began treatment. The change was astounding! The curvature in my neck has actually changed and is heading towards becoming a more ideal curvature. The results I have seen convinced me that my treatment plan is very effective!! I am the kind of person who needs to see actual results in order to feel good about a treatment plan, and I am completely convinced of the value of this treatment. I made a commitment to a series of regular visits each week. I know I would not have seen such clear results had I only dropped in occasionally. The time I invest in this treatment is clearly well worth it! I am delighted at the results. In addition to the X-ray results, my pain has decreased significantly! The staff and doctors at the clinic are so very considerate and personable. They treat their patients as friends, and they tailor treatment in a way that ensures maximum comfort for their patients. There is a family-like atmosphere in the clinic which gives it a really good vibe. My initial exam and X-rays were super cheap, and Tanya worked with my health insurance company to make sure my future treatment would be extremely affordable for me. The doctor incisted that I get a 2nd and 3rd opinion for my condition before he treated me. He got all of my files from my other medical doctors and helped me coordinate a plan to help me with my back. Doctor Pierce was thorough, in fact both doctors were thorough with my exam and care.
