Advanced Furnace & Air Duct Cleaning

I had advanced come out and do a duct cleaning/ dryer vent/ heat exchanger cleaning at my house in brick, nj. After doing endless amounts of research on duct cleaning(because there are so many companies that are rip offs) I picked advanced. After reading reviews, years in business and certifications I felt good about my decision. Billy and Steve showed up on time and went over the process in depth(which was same way nadca stated, the correct way to do it). I than had some questions and he answered them in great detail. They both were very careful maneuvering through my house and were very professional! They showed me what they were sucking out of my ductwork and the dryer exhaust. After they left I felt a significant difference in the air and I am very happy with the service they provided! The truck vacuum was top of the line, as well as the technicians the company sent to my home. I would highly recommend advanced to family and friends out there! I had Advanced Furnace come to my house to clean my ducts and dryer vent. I had a company come out a month ago and they basically ripped me off. My dryer still was not working properly and the dust actually got worse(which billy explained is a common problem because other companies loosen the dust and do not get all of it out). Billy and rob arrived at my door, on time, and proceeded to thoroughly explain how he was going to do the job. Of course, I ask hundreds of questions, and he took the time to answer each of them. He showed me the dust and debris in the ductwork as he cleaned it. Came out like new. Also, the dryer was clogged. He went into the attic to get the clog out because there was a few bends. After he left, I threw in a load and then dried it, It came out dry with no problem. There was no more dust in the house and I could feel the difference in the air. Everything about the job was done to perfection. The company came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! I would recommend this company to everyone! Not to mention the state of the art equipment! A truck mounted vacuum (unlike the shop vac with a brush at the end like the other company). It looks like a fire truck! This winter when I turned on my furnace I noticed that I had a significant amount of dust blowing out of my air vents. I figured it was probably time to have my air ducts cleaned. Since Ive often seen Advanced Furnaces big red duct cleaning trucks near my home, I decided to give them a call. The woman who answered the phone was very personable and was patient answering my many questions. After answering some questions about my home she was able to give me an accurate price quote and I scheduled an appointment for the following week. When the appointment time arrived, the technicians arrived right when I expected them to. One tech went right to work hooking up the big vacuum hose to my furnace trunk line in the basement, the other started taking off all my registers and wiping them off. They worked hard for about 2 hours. When they were finished my house smelled fresh and clean little bit like lemon or oranges. I would definitely have this company come back in the future, they did a great job. more

I had this company clean and vacuum the vents in my house and my dryer duct. They showed up when they promised and did a great on. There was no "surprises" on the bill. I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone. more

I had Advanced Furnace come clean the air ducts in my 12 year old house. I had noticed that there was a lot of dust on my furniture and a friend told me that it might help to have the air ducts cleaned. What a great decision. I am quite pleased with the service I received. My kids noses are less ""stuffy"" and we sneeze less. Also, the house just smells cleaner. I would definately have my air ducts cleaned again in a few years. more

After Superstorm Sandy flooded my crawl space and my flexible air ducts, I called Advanced and had them come out to replace them. They responded with a day (when other contractors I called didn't even bother to call me back!) and came out to measure the ductwork. A day after that they called me again to give me a total price for the replacement and installation of it all. I had the work completed within a week. I am pleased with the results and will have them clean my dryer vent when that needs to be done also. more

I called this duct cleaner in NJ and have to say rite off the bat that they are the best. My heater was just turned on and I noticed that a lot of dust was coming from my vents. I called this company and made an appointmet right away. Steve cleaned my ducts on Friday. He was very nice and showed me where my filter was on my furnace so I could change it out. He also told me what size filter to buy. All in all he did a great job. more

I have a summer home in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. One of my tenants noticed that there was a musty type of smell coming from the vents when my air conditioner came on. I called this company for help. They were great! When I inititally phoned I had talked to Nicole and explained my situation. She suggested that the odor might be coming from water in the drain pan of my air conditioner coils. We decided to have the service tech check this out when he came to do the service. On day of service, Doug arrived right when expected. He was friendly and knowledgable. He went right in my attic to check out the A/C coils. He said yes, there is standing water there and they should definately be cleaned. The service took about 3 hours from start to finish. He chemically cleaned the pan and coil and vacuumed out all of my ducts. When he was finished he sanitized the entire system. I was happy with the service from start to finish and would definately call this company when my Hillsborough home needs cleaning this fall. more

Customer service on phone was very nice and efficient. Cleaner arrived on time and was very professional (had on uniform) and went right to work. I asked about seeing the inside of my dirty vent and he offered to let me see with his flashlight; he then let me see inside after he was finished. Large powerful truck. This company did a great job. My only "complaint" if any...is that the service was $425. I didn't expect to pay this much as I had seen offers in my mail for $129 for whole house cleaning. I decided to trust this company since they guaranteed the price quote and I had noticed that they were rated A by Angies List customers. I am happy that I did so. They did a great job. During the recent heat wave in New Jersey I had my air conditioner turned way down; I noticed that everytime the air was blowing I had a musty smell in the air. I called my HVAC technician and he suggested that I probably need my air ducts and air conditioner coils cleaned and he recommended that I call Advanced Furnace & Air Duct Cleaning. I made the phone call and was very pleased. The secretary who took my call was very helpful and knowledgeable and explained the whole duct cleaning process. She was able to give me a price within a few minutes of answering simple questions. The price was a bit higher than I anticipated but I was impressed with what I heard (and was happy to hear that the price quoted was "guaranteed" not to change) and I scheduled the appointment for two days later. I was please with the work of the technicians, Chris and Billy. They were friendly, dressed in uniform, and cleean in appearance. They wasted no time in setting up and went right to work. The vacuum truck that they used seemed extremely powerful and I have no doubt that my ductwork is cleaned out. Chris offered to let me see in one of my returns so I could see for myself the dust and debris that naturally collects. Yuck. They really did need to be vacuumed out! Overall I am very happy with the job and feel it is money well spent. The musty odor is gone and my house smells clean. more

I had this company come out to clean out my home's air vents and my dryer vent in my Union County, NJ home. I had called about scheduling an estimate and was told by the girl answering the phone that she could do it within a few minutes right over the phone. Nice! Very easy...I just told her about the different rooms I have in the house and where the furnace is and other tidbits of information. Within a few minutes I had my price(s) and had scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The job performed took about 2 and a half hours from set up to finish. I was impressed with the big red truck that was used. It's a bit noisy but does a great job. My husband and I are both very pleased with the results. Even the vent covers were taken off and wiped off. No complaints here. I have already told my cousin who to call. She needs her air vents cleaned too. more

I called this company to help when a small bird made a nest in my dryer vent. They were able to come to my house, clean the line, AND they even put a "bird guard" on the exterior of the line to prevent animals from getting into the vent in the future. Everything was fast and efficient from the initial phone call to the appointment (the very next day!). I would definately have them come back in the future. more

I called a few other duct cleaners before I phoned Advanced Furnace. The other companies were just a little bit cheaper but when I asked about their equipment, one company had a van with a vacuum and the other one used portable units. I decided that I would prefer to have Advanced come with their power vacuum trucks. On the day of the appointment the technician arrived right on time and did a great job. I called a few different duct cleaners. Advanced Furnace did have higher prices than my local HVAC technician but I did a little research and thought it was worth the extra $. The technician showed up on time in his large vacuum truck. I was impressed. He was friendly, went right to work and finished in about two hours. I am very happy with the service I received. more

I would absolutely recommend Advanced Furnace and Air Duct Cleaning to anybody! From my first phone call to them, to when the tech was finished, they were very professional. Starting with the office staff, who were great about answering all of my questions, when other companies I had spoken to had been very evasive with their answers to the tech who arrived at my house on time and walked me through exactly what he was going to do. Advanced Furnace and Air Duct Cleaning has done work at our home and out at the office. The guys were very good, their pricing was good, and they came when they said. They actually went above and beyond to clean the vent of the dryer, pulling everything out, checking it, and pulling it out again to make sure that there were no kinks in the line. I have been a longtime customer of Advanced and get my ducts cleaned on a yearly basis. The amount of debris removed amazes me each time. Equally important is having my dryer vent cleared - which is always backed up with a good amount of lint. It gives me peace of mind with regards to fire safety, especially with my kids in the house. I have a service contract with the gas company. They come out and check my furnace each year in the fall. This year the service man told me there was some mold inside my ductwork. It was disgusting. He recommended I call Advanced to have them clean the ductwork. They arrived when scheduled and did not make a mess in my house and did a excellent job. I was very happy with their service. more
