Tao San Jin, or TSJ as the locals call it, offers great Chinese food. My favorites are the vegetable chow mein and fried rice. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is quick. The best value is the lunch special with your choice of entrée and appetizer and rice. It does get busy during lunch time, so make sure to get there early for quicker service!

I've eaten at Schooner's more times than I can count & can honestly say I've never been disappointed. The food and the service excel, and as far as getting your money's worth, you get MORE than your money's worth. I highly recommend it!

Sylvia’s Country Kitchen is located in a small shopping center and is just a short distance from the freeway. They are hard to miss. Parking though is not ample especially on weekends when they are most busy. Their food is good and they do give you a lot of food for your money. What is great is they cook everything just they way you request it, so if you have someone who’s picky about their food like my kids are, you’ll have no problems here.

I don’t usually shop at Safeway very often for groceries because I find that their prices are slightly higher than my favorite Albertson’s. However, I do make a special trip to Safeway to buy their fresh baked French bread. They are so much more delicious tasting than Albertson’s and when it’s spaghetti night, we never fail to drop by Safeway for it.

This is a diner atmosphere (like Dennys, but not a chain). Most people call this place SYLVIAS... anyway, it has nice home cooking for affordable prices. The crowd is usually families and elderly people with a few college students strewn about. Very casual. Very yummy comfort down home cooking.

They are located near the freeway and their lot is easily spotted from the street. They have a huge selection of flag stones and masonry, decorative rocks, boulders, soil and mulch all located on the left side of the plant nursery. The plants are located behind their store. They have a large selection of plants displayed in a garden like setting complete with ponds and boulders. Their prices are reasonable. Their staff are friendly and helpful.

There are few places I've found as good as Juarez for mexican food in the bay area. There are fewer places outside of San Diego that fit this bill! If you like mexicna, head here! I love the bean dip especially! Great place for some cheap food.
