He was precise and thorough. He took his time and explained everything to me when I know very little about the guts of a house. He came early and prepared. VERY reasonable price. He had my binder (report) to me the very next day which surprised me greatly because the details and pictures look like it should have taken him a week to complete. Speaking of pictures! HUNDREDS in color! Everyone I have shown my binder off too (I'm very proud of my new home) has written Dan's name and number down for future reference. I highly recommend Dan!!!! He was a blessing!

Adventureland, located just outside Des Moines in Altoona, Iowa, lacks the flash and exotic rides of Six Flags, but has drastically improved and expanded over the past five years beyond the old favorite rides of the Tornado roller coaster and the Raging River. New rides recently opened are the Sidewinder, a gigantic pendulum, and Saw Mill Splash, a water ride. Even on rainy days, there are lots of shows to enjoy. Nearby Adventureland Inn and Campground provide convenient and economical options for lodging without having to drive back to Des Moines (and pricier hotels) at night.

The Big Steer is excellent in service, selection, presentation and taste. Dining at it's best. The prime rib is outstanding, the best in the mid-west. This popular restaurant & lounge can get busy, but it is definately worth the short wait! Be sure to order onion rings!

This place offers good Mexican food fast. The chips and salsa are good and you get plenty of them. They offer take out as well. The prices are reasonable too. The restaurant is located in a strip mall by Target and Wamart. The people working there are very friendly and efficient.

You haven't been to Iowa if you haven't had a maid-rite! I love this place. Small and a hometown feel. GREAT sandwich as good as Maid-Rite's get. My Mom and I have to stop by at least once while we visit. Try it, great sandwiches, service is great and the prices are CHEAP!

We stayed here for 2 days and it was ok. We got a good deal and they were close to where we wanted to go. They have a nice pool that is WARM. The customer service reps were very nice to us. It was the ladies first day that checked us in and she did mess up with the keys but was very friendly about it.
