Roller Coaster Fun! 7/31/2006

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom is located in Allentown, PA (about an hour north of Philadelphia). It is two parks in one- a theme park and a water park. Your admission ticket grants you access to both parks- it is a great value for your money. The theme park is filled with fun and daring roller coasters and all the other types of rides you will find at an amusement park. Camp Snoopy is one section devoted to younger children and they will love it. The water park is tons of fun as well. Lots of slides, a wave pool, lazy river and more. The water park gets very crowded, especially early in the day. Plan on being there first thing in the morning to get a beach chair. Dorney is a wonderful way to spend a summer day. But if you want to avoid the crowds go on weekdays or early in the operating season. more

Fun and Excitement! 4/17/2006

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom is located in Allentown, PA. It is a very fun amusement and water park. What is great about Dorney is that the admission price includes both parks. You get a lot of fun entertainment for your money. I thought the park was clean and well maintained. Go early in the season or on a weekday to avoid the crowds. more

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom 12/20/2005

Though it may not be as big as Great Adventure, Dorney Park has just as much to offer for a day at the amusement park. Though I personally prefer the way Dorney was as a child, kind of rickety with a scary sort of charm, I can't complain about all thr new rollercoasters that have been built in the past few years. With Wildwater Kingdom included in the price of a ticket, it's like getting two parks for the price of one. more

2 parks in one! 9/2/2005

This is a fun place with lots to do! I set up a family picnic for my job here. They were helpful and gave us so much food for the price. You can enjoy both the waterpark and amusement park for just one price. There are also kiddie rides for the much younger set. more

Great Amusement Park Close to Home! 8/20/2005

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom have been in Allentown for years and the attraction is still there! Kids, familes, teens, adults all love this park and water rides haven. While they have kept some of the things that made them famous, such as wooden rollercoaster Hercules, they've updated as well with new coasters like the Laser. In the summer Wildwater Kingdom is a blissed relief from the heat. Try the Wave Pool, or float serenely down the River. Or go on one of the crazy tube rides! Dorney has a giant ferris wheel, merry go round, and all the mainstays. Take a day off and be a kid again! more

The Ride of Your Life 8/19/2005

Dorney is an average-sized amusement park that is never as crowded as the major amusement parks and is comparatively less expensive. The price of admission buys you access to two parks. It features many exciting rides and roller coasters that are sure to please thrill seekers of all ages. The water park has a number of water slides that are the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. The best time to visit is on a Sunday morning, when the lines tend to be very short or nonexistent. The price of food and beverages in the park is very high, so you are better off packing a picnic lunch and eating at your car, or visiting one of the many nearby restaurants. more

AMUSEMENT PARK IN YOUR BACKYARD! 8/11/2005

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom hosts many features & attractions. They have numerous rides and boast some of the world's best roller coasters. Although I have to confess I am deathly afraid of roller coasters. They have something for young and old. Food is expensive and so is the admission price -- but they are comparable to other amusement park prices. They do get PACKED, which is one reason why we don't go as often as we used to. more

Great! 8/4/2005

Dorney Park is an excellent value and find for family fun. A family can do a lot of things and have a lot of fun during a visit there. There are many rides and attractions, and not to mention a water park that is included in the admission price. It is a great place for families to go and enjoy a day together! There are rides for kids and adults as well. Camp Snoppy is wonderful too! more
