What a valuable treasure right in the middle of Allendale's main street. The Allendale Bar & Grill....or the AB&G as it's truly known, is a great place to meet up with friends, relax with a good meal and enjoy a fun night out. Aside from their delicious burgers, or famous buffalo chicken wrap, you must, must, must check it out on a Tuesday night for their "All you can eat Pasta Buffet"! You can not imagine how many different items there are for you to choose from. Several types of pasta, about a dozen choices of sauces (all prepared fresh) and probably 30 items (sausage, breaded eggplant, peas, 3 kind of mushrooms, spinach, shrimp, meatballs, asparagus, and sooo many others) to create your own unique dish. I'm someone who loves to eat and even I can't finish my bowl of pasta. I've heard they have a Sunday brunch that is equally amazing. That's next on my list! They have specials during football season and bands during the summer. It's a great place for a family, a couple, or even a bunch of single friends. Definitely worth checking out.

The Allendale Bar and Grill offers a large menu with many classic bar and grill items such as reubens, burgers, and clubs. It does not stop there though. AB&G also has a make your own salad option. You get to pick your protein, greens, and five toppings. The salads are huge and delicious (because you get ot decide what is in it!). I think another big attraction for people who go there is the popcorn machine. They are constantly making popcorn out of an old fashioned popcorn popper that you would see at fairs. The service is efficient and friendly. Check this place out!

This is a great florist. Kelly (the owner) always has the freshest flowers. We have used her on countless occasions to deliver flowers to people in town so were able to actually see the arrangements some times. They are always fresh and beautiful. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. You can't go wrong! And during the allendale octoberfest she sells great autumn potted plants!

Rohsler's Allendale Nursery is the best nursery in Bergen County. They specialize in having specimen and other unusual plant material that you just don't find anywhere else. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable and can give you informed advice on the best plants to use in y our situation. The nursery is also known for the care they give to the plants while on display in the nursery. Everything gets carefully watered and fertilized on an ongoing basis so that when you make a purchase you know it will survive if you continue to care for it.

The first thing I have to say is Allendale Flowers is NOT your run of the mill flower shop. You won't find formula bouquets or cheap balloons here! Stephanie, the owner, is Great! Each bouquet she's made me has been beautiful, artistic, and completely original. She asks questions and finds out exactly what your needs are, as well as LISTENING to you - unlike other flower shops I've dealt with in the past. Allendale Flowers has the freshest and most beautiful flowers I've ever seen and I've never been disappointed with an arrangement or the service. In fact, I've referred many of my friends to Allendale Flowers because I believe there is no other florist in the area that is of the same caliber as them. Stephanie & her crew always works with me so that I can get the best arrangement for my money (another thing I've never experienced with other florists) and she is TIMELY when it comes to deliveries. Their dedication and professionalism is top notch. I HIGHLY recommend Allendale Flowers.

The Allendale Nursing Home is a great nursing home. I know nursing homes turn most of us off, but this place is the exception. I have been to lots of nursing homes, and in my opinion, this one is the best. The nurses and aides take excellent care and interest in the residents, and make sure they get whatever it is they need. They have good food and they will adapt to special order diets. They also have so many activities that go on that you could never get bored. They even have outside entertainers that come almost daily to perform for the residents. It is a llittle pricey, but if you have the Money and are looking for the best place where your loved one will be entertained and get good care, I suggest you take a tour of this place. I think you will really like it!

Sushi was fantastic. Many different types ranging from the standard, to the exotic (Spider roll was tops)!. Atmosphere is great, very hospitable wait staff that is eager to please you and your party. A little on the pricey side for Sushi, but no more so than other restaurants that are on top of their game. Overall, I highly recommend it.

This is by far the best bagel store for miles. It is always crowded on the weekends. There are a few tables with stools to sit at. But most people just take their orders to go. They have all varieties of bagels and spreads. Their coffee is very good also. The owners and staff are always super friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and there is parking on the street.

Everytime I'm in Allendale I always see a big crowd at Pastafino Restorante especially at dinnertime. I never thought I would ever get a chance to eat at that place but I did... and twice! People do love their Italian food!
The first thing that needs to be done is to make a reservation. If you don't then you are definitely taking a big chance. We had a big party the first time we experienced this place so we managed to get the true flavour of what this restaurant had to offer.
The menu selection is incredible. Everything on there makes your mouth salivate with anticipation of the food coming out. You can't find a bad selection at all so don't worry about what you are ordering. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and patient at times for those of us who are indecisive.
The restaurant is a good medium size place. When you have a big party, you quickly realize how tight a fit it can be at at times.
Is this place expensive? Surprisingly it's not. It's very reasonable and given the portions that are served to you, you definitely can't complain at all. All wines are available for you to match any entree you order from the menu.
Parking is plenty in the lot across the street. Like I said, just be weary of the crowd that forms quickly at dinnertime. You want to make sure you don't miss out on experiencing what Pastafino has to offer.
