I'm not sure there is enough space to tell you how pleased and enjoyable working with Ken and his crew was during the construction of our addition. Ken was always available either by phone or by email and took the time to answer and respond to even the smallest questions. He spent the time to explain all options and outline the pros and cons of each. It was valuable to have an expert willing to take the time. His crews were prompt, courteous and delivered top notch construction quality. I have future projects planned for 2010 and will be working with Ken Engelking Builder to complete those. He is definitely a 5 out of 5 build

Village Inn in Allegan is always pretty busy. The food is good, but nothing too special. The prices are average as far as this type of restaurant goes. The atmosphere varies. Sometimes it's very smoky, other times you get stared at by all the locals, and sometimes its normal. The staff, however, is very friendly and a joy to be around. I like to go there.

I love getting my car washed at Ric and Stans in Allegan. I know when I drive away my car is going to standing tall. Also, the people that work there are friendly and polite. I have been to others that made me feel stupid on just how to drive in correctly. Not Ric and Stans!

I am a local. There is not a large selection to choose from in Allegan. When it comes to service, the staff at this restaurant is the best in town. The waitresses are always very friendly and accomodating - despite how busy this place gets (which is often).
The downfall to this place is that the food is average (some is above average), although it is extremely economical (which says a lot because I'm a cheap skate!!!). The atmosphere is pretty much like any other dive. Be prepared if you don't smoke, despite having a smoking and non-smoking area, you can't get away from it. I tend to stay away during the peak times, or, I just order out.

They offer alot of services for a fairly cheap price. The staff are quick to get your car in and you are usually always next in line. There service department is very quick and effecient at what they do. They will offer you advice on how to get your car repaired and at a cheap cost. They are located right downtown allegan so that you may go shopping while your car is getting fixed. I believe they have the cheapest tires in town.

Many smaller towns have companies that make a difference by providing jobs for the area, but not all of them have the additional advantage of being able to purchase the items produced at such a discount. We love having the Perrigo store open to us and selling us our over the counter drugs at such a discount!

I have shopped at McFarland's for years and the customer service is always the best. They know their customers on a first name basis and I have actually gotten calls when a new piece arrives that they think I might like. My latest purchase was 25 engraved pens and without Paula this would have not been possible. Thank you to everyone at McFarland's for everything they do. This is what small towns are known for and McFarland's goes above and beyond for all of their customers!!
