its been sometime since I have gone but never had a bad meal at this place. I have one request from the facility please make your beef wellingtons again I loved them and they so would bring me back again with out a second thought. Everyone was friendly and owners involved like an old world Italian restaurant....my husbands family has been going here on and off for years. more

I had lunch at Zio Fraedo's yesterday for the first time in my life and I had the most wonderful scallops I have ever tasted in my life. My lunch came with soup or salad and I chose the soup, Beef Barley....heaven!!! The service was impecible and precise and curtious and always with a smile...unbelievable!!!! more

I have been going to Zio's for years, both the old restaurant and the new one. I am always amazed the place isn't packed. I have held several banquets and have always been extremly pleased with every aspect of the event. The food is reasonably priced when you factor in bread, soup or salad, and two side dishes. I always have food left over to take home. I have never been there and not had the owner, ""Big Tony"" buy me a drink. As trendy restaurants come and go, I choose to spend my money wisely on great food, great service and a great atmosphere. As a matter if fact, I'm going tomorrow night, hope to see you there. more

Zio Fraedo's 11/13/2009

Working at an establishment very near to Zio Fraedo's, but not having actually eaten at Zio Fraedo's, all I can offer is that appears to have a fun atmosphere and many banquets and parties are held there and often there are inebriated patrons often making quite the ruckus outside. more

Perfect place for a big party 1/19/2009

I called the restaurant for a party of between 25-50 people. The owner suggested we do a murder mystery event, and even called to arrange it for us. the food is reasonable and the price is GREAT! more

Great for special occasions, large or small 8/25/2008

My family wanted to hold a special birthday celebration. The owner was very accommodating -- we were encouraged to come in early and decorate (we were given a corner table and took it over for the entire evening!). The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and they really treated us like family. Pros: good food, great service Cons: a little pricey for the area more

Will not be back 4/17/2008

This place is creepy from the beginning. Even before I set foot in the building something didn't seem right. The atmosphere felt more like a reception hall and a bad wedding. Unfortunately the rest of the night lived up to the first impressions with bad food and service. more

Italiano Anyone?! 11/27/2007

The experience for me was good. My Fiancee brought me there because his father knew the owner. He treated us like family, and gave us extra special care, and a free dessert. I had the linguini with clam sauce it was good, a bit gritty tho'! Other wise a great experience... Pros: Good Service, Good Food Cons: Not Ecsactly Gourmet more

Moderate prices and elegant environment. 8/22/2007

I had lunch there with ny boss last week. It was perhaps the best Prime Rib sandwich that I've had in a long time. The meat was tender and juicy, and the fries were perfectly done. my boss ordered the calamari steak and was pleased with the food as well as the presentation. Pros: All more

Continental cuisine dream 4/21/2007

I was very pleased with the welcome at the front desk. They made us feel like we were regulars (even though it was our first time there). The ceasar salad was made at our table and that is something you don't get in restaurants often. And it was delicious.....The service was great and so was the chicken toscona. If you are a creme bruele fan you must go there to try. My husband and I will be regulars....thanks Zio's Pros: service, food more

User review by lindakeys 3/9/2006

The atmosphere and service was good. Lousy food though. The food did not meet my expectations considering the prices they charge. Preety expensive for mediocre food. The soup came out very salty. I had the calamari steak and it was bland. The garlic was too overpowering. It was smothered with too much parsley and garlic. All I could taste was the garlic and the parsley. My son had the chicken marsala which was so-so. At those prices, we expected better food. more
