I liked the selection they had here. There are a lot of run-of-the-mill pieces like book cases, head boards, chairs, etc in shaker style or art and crafts, etc. There are also some more unique pieces that is a little harder to find elsewhere. My husband and I really liked this one entertainment center that has sliding doors. The prices were a little high (for me) considering you have to stain it yourself, but I guess you're buying quality SOLID WOOD furniture. And these days, that's harder to come by. Bottom line: worth the time to look around. more

unfinished furniture 10/7/2005

I hate wood veneers. I was looking for a bookcase and couldn't find anything in solid wood. A friend recommended this place, so I went to check it out. They have great stuff. I found the perfect bookcases. They has only one brand of stain, but lots of colors to choose from. I found the perfect match. They will finish it for you for a fee, but I decided to do it myself. They will sell you a whole kit with very good instructions. These were the 1st pieces I finished myself and they came out great. I'd definitely do it again. more
