Winter Park Ob-Gyn

Everything was fine until about 6 months in with my 1st child. The ob ultrasound techs either don't know what they are looking at or they are afraid of you sueing them. So word of advice don't tell them any family history or they will worry you to death. I was told my daughter had multiple heart defects and when I go to the heart specialist he sees nothing. The doctors are not nice. I had trouble getting a hold of anyone too. And when the head nurse does call you back you can't hear anything she is saying because English is not her first language. My delivery experience was horrible. The nurse and the doctor were not checking to see how dilated I was. I finally asked the nurse if that was her job to do it and if she please would. The doctor came in and said she'd be back in an hour. Thank goodness my husband was there to push the call button when he saw her head popping out! When the nurse came in she had to call code red and everyone came running. Please don't give them anymore business! more

I liked 5 out of the 7 doctors working at this practice, but since that means there's about a 30% chance that I dislike the person who will deliver my baby, I won't be going here again or bothering to get my ob care here for child number 2.\r \r Nor would I recommend this place to anyone. They answer the phone seemingly whenever they want, which is about 50% of the times I have called. I am 8.5 months pregnant right now and had a pressing concern yesterday that I wanted to talk to a doctor about. So I called the practice at about 10:30 and didn't get anyone at all, no matter which menu option I pressed (I called about 6 or 7 times and went through all of the options). Eventually I got frustrated and gave up, and ended up calling my PCP to get reassurance. SHE called me back within the hour, because that's what real doctors who work at real practices are supposed to do.\r \r I have called in the past and left messages about billing questions as well, and never got a call back. It's completed unacceptable the way this place is run. more

I have been going to this office for the past 9 years. I have seen all of the doctors during both my pregnancies and I have regularly seen Dr. Jones and Dr. Lincourt. I really like both of them. Dr. Jones was a little hard to get to know at first but now that I know her she is my favorite. She ended up delivering both my babies and Dr. Lincourt saw me through cervical cancer and a procedure to eliminate it. This is a great practice and if you bring in a list of questions Dr. Jones will take the time to talk to you about your issues and make recommendations. I have sent several friends here and they have been really happy. Dr. Dukes is also very nice and some of my friends say he is their favorite. more

i have been going here throughout my prgenancy this place came recomended to us. i have mixed feelings. i have felt very rushed by some people. some docotors have been super friendly. one pretty much called me fat and has put on an image worry the rest of the time. its hard when your huge to have added extra stress about that from the doctor.a lot of appointments have seemed pointless there is no communication. half of that is on me i know. there billing department was great when my husband was layed off and we were tryingt to get the insurance mess figured out. it is hard to get someone to answer the phone some days and i rarley get a call back i have to call them back. we have left 4 messages today and nothing. i asked a question to the ob nurse today and never got it answered. i also had to repeatedly say i could not come in tomorrow morning befor she got it.she has a lot of attitude and gave me a lot of stress i dont need at 9 months pregnant. the person in the lab is great. you always want someone nice when it comes to needels. be careful when scheduaing appointments. i guess the winter park and oviedo office have the same number they made my appointment in oviedo and didnt tell me. its a newer office im sure that willl get worked out.
