Over the years of having highlights, I have tried numerous colorists, including the most expensive high-end salons New York and Houston have to offer. After getting a terrible color that needed correction, I went to Visible Changes salon at Deerbrook Mall because it was the only one open at the time. It was the best move ever! That's how I found Delores, who has been doing my hair ever since. I constantly am being asked where I get my highlights done, and my hair has never looked better. Her work is better than any of the overpriced big buck salons. I just sent my mom to her and she loves her color, and looks twenty years younger! Also of note for cuts is Crystal, who just my hair for the first time, and did a great job. Pros: Convenient, great prices more

I used to go with my mom to VC, when I was a kid. I am now 23, and they still have the same quality of service they have always had. It has always been a modern place to go, and they always keep up with technology. Let's say you want to be a dirty blonde in the fall, a brunette in the winter, a bleach blonde in the summer & fall. Well, you can go to the same exact color you had (whatever the season you liked) and they will have the color they used in the computer. That's awesome, they don't have it written down on some sticky note that's going to get lost by the next time you need it. They do have some CRAZY hair styles in there, but they are artists whether you think so or not. Hair colors, textures, and styles are artwork. Don't be fooled if someone has green spikey hair, they won't make you look like a punk rocker chick. They never fail to satisfy me. I have gone to Dolores, and Sergio. Delores happened to be out of town when I decided to be \r an idiot & dye my own hair. He did a great job fixing the mess I made. He also recommended a great hair product for me. I have used Dolores the most, and her highlights are amazing. You know how some hair colorist can be they miss spots, well her highlights have always been very accurate. It is more expensive than going to one of those cheap places (and most of the time they use cheap products, and have less training), but worth it, because you might end up having to come here to get your bad dye job fixed anyways, might as well save yourself the chemical damage & come here. I haven't gotten my hair cut here as an adult, but I have seen a lot of great cuts happen while I am getting my hair colored. Beware that you have to pay extra from the cut for styling, and blowdrying. & for peace sakes tip the people that shampoo you! \r Come check it out! I have used Visible Changes, esp. this location, for over 20 yrs. It amazes me that no matter who i request or even if I get the next stylist in line, I am always pleased. They do exactly what I ask. I have gone cheaper places, but always come back to V.C. You pay a ""little"" more, but it's well worth it. The only reason I ever go elsewhere is because you pretty much have to have an appt. because they are always so booked up. And usually when I get a cut it's spur of the moment. I highly recommend them, esp. if you are able to plan ahead of time. They rock! Pros: Great location/ Highly skilled service/ Great atmoshere Cons: a little expensive/ long waits usually more

I have seen so much bad hair come out of this salon including my mom, sis, and myself. It seems that they do not know the word subtle. Save your money and go somewhere else!! Cons: too many to list more
