This place is the answer to those who want to eat great food, but don't want to act ""stuffy."" Not to say this place isn't nice; it is, but in a sort of retro-kitschy kind of way. There's just enough tongue-in-cheek about the whole thing to set you at ease and convince you that steaks and martinis really were the best answer, all along.
Unlike many steak houses, though, the non-red-meats get their full share of attention. The ""tuna burger"" was so wonderful, I ordered a second to take home for family. Desserts, as always and everywhere, were oversized, and I can't comment on them. They did offer three different fresh fruit offerings, which was nice.
Not a hitch in the service, although I was there for lunch, and it wasn't busy. Nonsmokers may dislike walking through the bar/ lounge to be seated.
Pros: great food, attitude
Cons: smoking near entry
