Called me an IDIOT 4/15/2013

When I wouldn't take a dollar UNDER spot price for my silver, and turned to walk away, the clerk said to me "I guess you know it all then, IDIOT!" That's right, not only do these guys try to RIP YOU OFF, but they INSULT YOU when you don't fall for their BS!! I can't believe how incredibly RUDE these people are!! I went in there one time before and a different clerk was rude to me but at least he didn't insult me to my face! That's two for two, go anywhere else, just not Westchester Gold! more

Be a Hero: Diamond Ring Found on Budget! 1/17/2012

Westchester Gold and Diamonds looks like a "little" shop on the outside, but when you go inside there are thousands upon thousands of jewelry, watches, Rolexes, rings, diamonds, antiques...oh, my...my son became a hero at Christmas when we were able to find a beautiful diamond heart-shaped ring for his girlfriend under $100. There is something for everyone from low budgets to high budgets. Steve and the team know gold and diamonds and antiques. You can trust them! more

Rude and Shady 4/14/2011

This place seems so shady to me. Never get a good vibe when I go in there. I called one morning to get a quick question answered about a repair. The lady answered the phone (assuming they were open) and I began asking her a question. Only to have her snap at me rudely saying I would need to call back at 10 when they were open. Everytime I would try to get a word in she would cut me off. I asked how much it usually runs for the repair and out of six jewelry places theirs was the only place who couldn't answer that. Instead I was told I would need to come in an then they would look at it and give me an estimate. How hard is it to give a price when I tell you exact problem what it is and what needs to be done? I will use Port Charlotte Jewelry and Watch Repair instead. At least they were pleasant and knew exactlly how much the repair would cost...19 dollars. Not bad when Kay Jewelers was wanting 45 and had to send it off. more

my family has been dealing with steve for many many years, he has to be the best and easiest jeweler to work with, his jewelery has to be the cheapest you'll find in southest fl too. more

I have been dealing with Steve and his staff for a few years now and they never cease to amaze me with the quality of their products and expertise in fabricating anything you want. They did an oustanding job on my wifes wedding rings, from design to the finished product I have to rate them with an A+++\r I was floored when steve showed me the rings, he even added a few touches that I was very pleased with. So if you need anything in the jewelry department, GO SEE STEVE! Forget the mall and head straight to WESTCHESTER GOLD!!! more
