In 2016, Wellness One expanded its state of the art physical therapy facility. The practice is still located at 186 Paterson Avenue in East Rutherford, but has moved to a larger renovated space on the 2nd floor of the building. “This expansion is an exciting step forward in our physical therapy practice,” said Dr. Elliot Foster, one of the owners of Wellness One of South Bergen. “This renovated space will allow our practice to continue to grow and serve our growing community while maintaining the hands-on one-on-one care that Wellness One is known for throughout the area.” Dr. Haider Rizvi recently completed his MT-5 certification to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. This distinction follows post-graduate seminars and hands-on clinics demonstrating his advanced orthopedic clinical practice. Dr. Rizvi is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), applying scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance, including: sport-specific testing sessions, designing and implementing safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and providing guidance on nutrition and injury prevention. He has an extensive amount of experience caring for a large range of conditions from sports injuries to brain trauma, and a strong practice in therapeutic care following knee and hip replacement surgery. Our office maintains a patient-focused facility by conveniently fitting into a patient's lifestyle with early morning and late day hours, Saturday availability by appointment, a multi-lingual office (English, Spanish and Polish) and easy accessibility when driving or taking public transportation.
