Wayside Furniture

I felt I was dealing with very dishonest people VERY upset! more

Do not trust Wayside Furniture- we were sold a product- paid in full- were called and told to pick up our product at their warehouse- and then told (AT THE WAREHOUSE) after driving 45 minutes, that they couldn’t get the product they had already sold us. Then Wayside Furniture tried the classic bait and switch- the guy at the warehouse said we could have a totally different table which he described as “ more expensive and nicer than the one you ordered.” Unfortunately for us, the alternative product was old, dusty, beat up and hardly better than the product we had ordered. To add insult to injury- THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. THE STORE MANAGER ACTUALLY LAUGHED AND FOUND IT AMUSING that we were upset at being sold a product they couldn’t deliver and the salesperson was adamant that we should take the lesser product. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- who laughs at a customer who was told to drive 45 minutes to pick up a table that they didn’t even have and then finds it amusing that the customer is upset. This store is huge and has a great selection. They are always anxious to help you and offer a large selection of furniture brands. You can also custom order fabric's from them. They carry a large amount of accessories. They have a large mattress showroom and explain everything to you whnever you have any questions. They are always having a sale. I would say their prices are average for a furniture store. You have to pay for delivery which is a drawback. Most stores now offer free delivery but they only offer it during a special sale. more

I attended LCCC while still in high school back in 1995-97. I also went there for a bit after I graduated. LCCC is very organized. The professors are helpful, concerned, and really know their subject area. LCCC also has the University Partnership program that allows students to receive a bachelor's and/or a master's degree from a wide variety of colleges and universities while staying close to home. This allows many students who traditionally wouldn't be able to attend college to be able to. We have this great community college right in our backyard...I suggest that those wanting to get off to a great start with their higher-ed take a look at LCCC. Most of their credits transfer to area 4-year colleges and universities. more
