Great place to get plants 8/23/2005

Wannemaker's is a great place to go to get your summer plants and vegetables. The quality is much higher than you'd find in any other store-- especially grocerstores etc. in terms of quality, the plants you find ther would be the best with places like home depot etc. coming in second and grovery stores third. They also have more than just plants. You can buy wonderful wooden swings and playsets there as well. more

Great Place 8/13/2005

Wannemaker's is the ideal home and garden center in the Chicago land area. It is big and has everything you could ever need for any project. The founder just recently passed away, and i didnt think it could remain the same, but so far it has. Prices are good, staff is good and friendly, products are long lasting. Overall i give Wannemaker's Home and Garden Center four stars out of five. more

Hard to find plants 7/27/2005

Gardening can be a very enjoyable past time. Once you get started you will want to track down some beautiful plants to add to your garden.I found that wannemaker's can supply alot of the hard to find exotic plants for use in your garden. Also they have a range of supplies for use in your garden. I recommend that you check them out for their pond supplies. more

Great quality in trees, bushes and plants 6/18/2005

Wannemakers is a great place to go for the unusual plant or tree. The quality is excellent and they are very helpful in solving various garden problems. They have ponds and pond supplies. The aquatic plants are numerous. They also have a wide display of fountains, from the very small to huge monuments. I always have the best success with their annuals and vegetable plants. They are a little more expensive then what you might get at a grocery store but the quality makes them the better value. more

Lots of Great Plants 6/16/2005

Wannemaker's is a great place to go to buy plants, flowers and EVERYTHING else for your home and garden. The employees are very helpful and will do all they can to guide you in the right direction. They have many strong plants. Nearly anything and everything you could want. It's a great place to just browse and you will end up leaving with so many beautiful items! Way more than you came for! I highly recommed Wannemaker's. more
