Sandwiches and Soups to go for lunch! 9/13/2009

Walt's has an awesome selection of sandwiches and soups. They make sandwiches to order or you can choose from their wide array of sandwich combos off their menu. Sandwiches come with a pickle and chips. The only down side is that this place is so popular that you need to be prepared to stand in line to order your sandwich. more

One of Saybrook's best 11/2/2005

Walts is like a small town grocery store with the best ina fresh produce and deli cust. They are the area butcher shop, offering only the finest in selection. They have some of the best salads and deli foods around. You must try their chicken salad and ther Potato salad, it is 5 star all the way. They are conveniently located on Main Street in Old Saybrook, and have great hours. They even offer grocery delivery for the elderly or for those that do not feel like making the trek outdoors. more
