Vista Sol Apartments El Paso

I personally do not feel safe living here because several of the residents here have pitbulls as pets. There are several ""pets"" that are listed under our lease agreement that are forbidden. Pitbulls are on the list with a few other dogs. There is a reason that the corporate office does not want these animals in this community. I have personlly seen 2 pitbulls in this community over the past 6 months. There is a brown pitbull that is never on a leash. There is also a white pitbull here as well. Management has to enforce the rules set forth by the corporate office so that residents can feel safe living in this community. I also feel really sorry for the very small children who are outside playing while these pitbulls are unleashed. more

Well, while the front office staff is nice and the maintenance is adequate, the issue is with the tenants. I really think the people who live here belong in the circus because they're all clowns. On several occasions I have walked by many apartments where I smelled marijuana coming from their opened windows. Every morning when I take the trash out, they are people ""dumpster diving"". Many of the tenants are very loud and they use extreme profanity. It's a very rough crowd of people that lives here. Not only are the tenants a joke, but my apartment has been crawling with roaches for the past 6 months. The front office sends out the exterminator on a weekly basis to my apartment and I have humungus roaches everywhere. Part of the reason that bugs can come into the apartment so freely is because the apartments are poorly sealed. In other words, there are huge holes/gaps underneath the sink in the kitchen and bathroom and the front door is also not sealed very well. If you plan to do laundry here, beware that water comes through the drain from the bottom and it floods. There is mold and mildew all over the floor near the dryers because of the constant flooding. Basically, when the washing machines drain the water after the wash cycle, it comes up through the floor. The floor is constantly wet and covered with water. Nevertheless, it doesn't stop tenants from coming in and doing laundry barefoot. See what I mean about the tenants' Here's the issue with the parking lot: there are several cars that have been parked here for years and have never moved. The parking lot is basically a dumping place for vehicles that don't work anymore. Some of them even have busted windows. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, safe place to live, I do not recommend these apartments and I have lived here for a while and I am looking for some place different. Assorted low lifes live in these apartments, so renter beware. The management is some what responsive to the tenants. Maintenance is quick to fix any problems you have with your apartment, but the property looks like sh!t. Trash and junk cars litter the property. Pros: Close to downtown, shopping and hospital. Free cable. Cons: Abandoned cars and trash on the parking lot more
