I love this place! 10/18/2008

Vineyard Gate is a wonderful place to live. I have been here about 3 years and planning on staying much longer. The staff is always very helpful and my home is so perfect for my large size furniture and California king bed. I live in the 2 bed room 2 bath home and share the 2nd bedroom with my sister. She and I both have our own attached bathrooms which I have never seen anywhere else. Neither one of us have sneak across the hall to get to our own bathroom. The washers and dryers are full size, so I can wash my cal king comforter without an issue. The patios are HUGE! I have a full size patio set and a BBQ. We invite friends over during the summer and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Each month the community has events for us to be able to mingle with other residents. Thanks to Vineyard Gate's events I am familiar with all my neighbors and now meet up for morning walks with all my close new friends I have met. Vineyard Gate isn't just a community, it's a place to call home. Pros: The STAFF! The large size floorplans, JAMES!!! Cons: None that I am aware of. more

Awesome staff/great community/inviting surroundings. 9/5/2008

Wow! these bitches dont have anything nice to say. One says it was trashy... uuumm look over some of your sentence structure there girl; some of your writing looks like you may have lived or do live in a trailer park. (Cons: Caliber of People of who here)-{what the hell does that mean ""who here""-what the phuck- we got Dr. Suess telling a story over here-freakin Horton hears a who???)- (I noticed ugly girls dont like it here it may be because the staff and residents are pretty I dont know)\r \r I have never ever heard stereos bumping here and if anyone is playing their music load it is me. The staff is absolutely amazing. I consider them all friends and plan on staying here for years. I agree it is expensive but please try to find floor plans of this size around town. I noticed these postings were from last year as well, the current staff is top notch and friendly. If you have a problem they will send someone out as soon as possible. I would recommend this place if you are looking to move into an apartment. At least once a month the staff put something together that brings the residence closer and a chance to know each other. It can be 30 feet of subway style sandwhiches every month to random holiday celebrations. If anyone is complaining about this place it is just because it is in their nature to act like nothing is good enough. If you dont like it here there is always south Sacramento.\r Again I would highly recommend this place to anyone, I feel bad for those who live anywhere else! Pros: great staff - beautiful setting - friendly/social community Cons: ... more

I don't know how anyone could recommend this place. I have lived here for almost a year with my boyfriend and I can't find a lot of nice things to say except that our lease is almost over. We looked at a lot of places before renting, but the staff here did a great job of ""selling"" this place to us by raving about the people who live here and the great remodels and new ammenities. Well besides the signs that have been posted since we moved in thanking the residence for their patience during remodeling, there is not one sign of anything changing here. Unless you count the metal vineyards they added to the gates! I'm glad to see my rent money going to good use! The people that live here are less than the young professionals the staff assured us they cater to. I'm not sure how many the people the complex allow to live in one buildling, but some seem to have quite a few regulars (I've seen one apartment that had a second family move in. Talk about affordable living for them!) People drive in and out of here ALL night with their stereos bumping and the bass rattling their car doors and the apartment walls. Of course we have security who usually drives through around 6pm. A lot of good that does. Good luck trying to get management to take care of complaints. I had to continously call and the problem still hasn't been taken of. I really think the property managers should review who they have working and respresting them. Pros: Our lease is almost over Cons: Having to move more

I have lived in tis complex for almost a year with my boyfriend. When we were looking for apartments we looked at A LOT of different places, but Vineyard Gate did a great job on ""selling"" this plase to us. They talked about all the upgrades and new ammenities they were planning (we have yet to see ANYTHING even started, but there are signs posted every where thanking the residents for their patience with the mess while they upgrade!) The floor plans are great and the balconies are very spacious, but the people that live here are trashy. My boyfriend and I are both professionals (he a business owner and I an executive of a manufacturing company). The people who talked to us about renting here raved about the quality of people that lived here and that they really cater to the youngs professionals. Professional what? There is constant traffic in and out of here at all hours, most with their steroes blasting and the bass shaking the walls. I love loud music, but seriously, bass that rattles your entire car was left in high school. There are always people arguing loud enough to hear outside and better yet, walking aroud the complex yelling ito their cell phones! If you try to make any requests of the management, such as oil the squeaky gate or post a memo asking residents to close the trash door (because otherwise it bangs all night), or to talk to the people who live below you because they think it's ok to start playing their music every weekend around 8am with the bass turned up so pictures fall off the walls....it will take about 10 phone call to management and even then nothing will get done. For what we pay to live here I would expect a little higher class. I think the property managers need to evaluate who they have working and representing them. Oh yeah, the reserved parking spot that comes with your apartment, good luck with management enforcing that. Pros: Great Floor Plan Cons: Caliber of People of who here more
