This restaurant is in our neighborhood just a few blocks away from our house. We often walk there (when the weather isn't so hot). We have been going here regularly since they opened in 2009. We love the bar area and prefer eating at one of the tall tables or at the bar itself where you get the best views of all the activity and feel the energy of people coming and going. They also have nice patios..one in front and one in back. It's almost impossible to get a table on the front patio in good weather. So we always target a table in the bar area. Where ever you sit the service is always prompt and friendly. The food is always good. I usually get a buffalo shrimp taco, a calamari taco, black beans, and mexican rice. My wife usually gets the grilled veggie quesadilla w/buffalo tofu added and a side of black beans. This is really some of the very best food of this type I've had anywhere. In fact now I just don't order soft tacos at other places because they never measure up to those I get at Verde's. We also order take out at Verde's at least once a week...same great food and value. So glad we have this place now in our neighborhood.
Pros: really good food, reasonable prices, outstanding service
Cons: it gets really crowded evening prime time (cause it's good)
