When it comes to electronic cigarette retailers there's quite a lot to choose from these days. An industry that was practically unheard of 2 years ago is nearly as well know as "iPhone" today.
I've been a smoker for over 22 years and started dabbling with electronic cigarettes about a year and a half ago. I've tried everything from NJoy, Smoking Everywhere, Blu, Green Smoke, Smoke Arrest, All those guys in the big city malls... You name it; Ive tried it. What I have come to understand about electronic cigarettes is that it's as much about the company providing the electronic cigarettes and how they stand behind their product as it is about the product itself. Unfortunately this is where every other electronic cigarette retailer falls short of the bar... You see, electronic cigarettes, no matter who makes them, will always have performance issues from time to time. Now, when this happens, you are completely at the mercy of the merchant who sold you the product and so far it hasn't been a great experience. That is until a friend of mine told me to go check out The Vapor Depot in the Bonner Mall in a small town that most people don't even know exists... Ponderay, Idaho. About a mile north of Sandpoint on Hwy 95. So I went and checked them out and I was so impressed by their service I was compelled to write them this review.
Now let me break this down for you... I show up at The Vapor Depot with the intention of purchasing more batteries and atomizers and to get some more Vapor Juice (as they call it. a.k.a.: e-liquid). The reason why I needed to buy more batteries and atomizers is because those guys in the big city malls refused to warranty my broken parts because I hadn't purchased at least one bottle of e-liquid from them in the past month (WTF?). Anyway, this Vapor Depot location is busy as hell, so I take a seat at one of there posh pub tables and watch the game on one of their big screen TV's awaiting my turn. After a few minutes this friendly fella invites me up to the counter and asks me how he can help. I tell him about my dilema with my batteries and atomizers and that I need more of them. He then asked to see my "bad" parts knowing full well that they didn't come from them. With lightning speed and surgical precision he started going to work on diagnosing and trying to fix my problem. In the end, he was able to fix one of my atomizers and adjusted something in one of my batteries fixing it as well. He then tossed my other battery and atomizer into a box behind him and handed me a new battery and atomizer. Thinking nothing of it I asked him what I owed him and he said "NOTHING". I was like "What????" He then went on to say that if I continued useing their e-liquids that I would have a full lifetime warranty on all of my parts, no questions asked! He simply replaced my bad parts from a competing company on good faith that I would see the sense in his proposal, and I did! That was a no brainer! Especially since their e-liquids are half the price of those guys in the malls and I didn't have to make sure I bought one every month!
I'm telling you, these guys are the best at what they do with the best quality products on the market and they stand behind their stuff like no one I've ever seen. Not even Sears or Costco has warranty like The Vapor Depot.
Bottom line? If you're looking for an electronic cigarette don't even bother looking any further than The Vapor Depot. Been there and done that. The Vapor Depot will one day be the Starbucks of Electronic Cigarettes! Mark my words!
