My experience at Van Vreede's Appleton store was nothing but positive. Our salesperson, Scott S., took the time to go through several comparable appliances and help us decide which was best for us. He also got us a super price, next day delivery & free installation! We will definitely return in the future. more

VV is competitively priced, has every brand appliance there is and owns Howie Voigt Service if you ever have a problem. Good: Yes, they have nice furniture, but so does Ashley, Furniture Row, and few other great places to go. At Ashley's there's an employee named Greg who is fantastic at what he does. He does not hassle you or tries to sell the items, he wants you to be happy with your purchase and will be honest about the products they carry in the store.. Bad: I have never been so disrespected and disgusted by a company before and Van Vreedes went over the top. They act like your best friend when you are in there buying a product, but afterwards it is horrible. I had an employee named Marlene N. who "took care of me" and yet she failed to let me know about the store's policy, restocking fees, and if you put money down they order it right away for you. So if you can't buy the items you originally wanted, you lose the money you deposited.. Improvements: Do you know the phrase, "Customers First"? Well, apparently Van Vreedes in Appleton, Wi has not. In my job, I'm all about great service and pertaining to the customers in the best situation I can. If I'm not happy with how the customer is or the situation because they are not buying anything, then there's nothing I can do. It's my money that I put down and Van Vreedes is denying me the money I've worked hard for. I'm not rich and cannot be wasting money left and right. Anyone would be upset in losing money.. Other: I am writing not to give their company a bad review, but more so to save anyone who wants furniture from getting bad service that I have gotten over the past few weeks. I've yet to get my refund back. Since Marlene did not notify me of their policies and restocking fees, I should get my refund back. That is failure to inform a customer and the customer should not suffer for it. If you are looking into purchasing through Van Vreedes in Appleton, Wi, I'd advise you not to. It may be the worse investment thus. more

I bought my house full of appliances while we were building the price were great I got alot of rebates and the Jeff the sales man was super he did everything he could to make it possible to get a great price and great appliances .. I just loved all the appliances he thought was the best . he did a brand compare on the product for the best product to buy .it was super customer service more

Van Vreede's is a great furniture and appliance store. They are in a great location. They are located just far enough away from the mall to avoid mall traffic, but close enough to still be convenient. They carry a wide variety of brands of furniture, appliances and large electronics. I have not purchased furniture there, but have purchased almost every appliance and television set in my house from them. That portion of the store is able to negotiate prices. They are competitively priced. The sales people are friendly and helpful. more

Van Vreedes has a huge selection of appliances; tv's especially, but also kitchen and laundry room appliances. They do not carry much furniture because they have so many appliances inside. Right now they are a little difficult to get too though because of the road construction. The staff is helpful though and willing to answer questions. The store is clean and organized well too. more
