I moved to my house 3 years ago. My mail came around 11:00 am. Yesterday, It was after 4:00 pm! But the worst is the ""so-called"" delivery service... This is probably the whole system's fault (USPS) The dirty little secret that they never tell you is that when you pay premium rates for PRIORITY shipping, It's NOT a priority!\r

I bought a $3.31 item on Ebay 2 weeks ago, including shipping, from China. I tracked a total of no less than 7 entries into the whereabouts of my package. I was impressed! I thought: Wow! USPS really has it together, maybe there's hope for them, I hate to see all those people lose they're jobs. I've made a it point this year, to help them. I've shipped around 20 items I re-sold on ebay with them and tried to have my deliveries shipped with them when I purchase online.\r

I'm on Vacation this week, I stayed home instead of going somewhere warm. I work for a railroad and my work is outside during snow, rain, etc. I decided to stay inside, stay warm and play with my new indoor micro helicopter I bought at a California hobby shop...\r

I ordered it tuesday and paid for priority shipping so I could have it for 4 days before I had to return to work. This was not a toy! $300.00+ So, the shop required (""signature"") confirmation... I even made a call to the manager and asked them to forget their store policy and move me to same day shipping... They are the largest Walkera, Etc. sellers in the USA. And have a multitude of shipments everyday. She emailed 3 times that day to update whether It would ship that day, It did, 6:02 pm California time. \r

It was scheduled to get to my house thursday. It's Friday afternoon and tracking still says it's in California... I called this morning, and my post office said the package was here. I had called yesterday to place a hold on it, so i could get it when they opened this morning, instead of having to wait until my mail carrier ""showed-up"" ultra-late afternoon! It was'nt there.\r

""WHY"" they held a $5.00 safe bag for charging helicopter batteries that I'd bought from China, I don't know! It was parcel post! I drove 4 miles to pick it up, thinking: That's USPS! My helicopter is here, but tracking on my computer says it's ""still"" in California... In case your wondering ""why"" i'm writing all of this over a helicopter... It's because I'm fed-up with USPS! I've put up with this crap for years and this was the straw that broke the camel's back! Plus, when I googled the phone number, i saw the 5-star review.\r

The worst was when I called the Main USPS phone number after coming back home empty-handed...\r
I was told that the 3 day PRIORITY shipping crap plastered all over everything was not a guaranteed delivery in 3 days. HUH? They have 5 business days to deliver a priority package! Just in case somebody screws-up and sends it to Alaska instead of Portage, Indiana... And by the way, My tracking did'nt list anything after the first pick-up scan in California, Portage says that's all they had on my package, but the lady at the phone number said she knew it had left california.\r

She would'nt tell me where the hell it was... But she did say: ""tracking is only a courtesy"" Tell me, ""USPS"" just ""what"" exactly do I get from you, when I pay you double for ""PRIORITY"" shipping!?! Personally, had I been treated like a customer ""&"" a tax-payer, rather than a mushroom, I would've been more understanding. Mistakes ""do"" happen... But I'm tired of being belittled & lied-to everytime ""YOU"" screw up! Which is quite often!\r
