University Heights Ii

This place was TERRIBLE. I would never recommend anyone to live here. It's way overpriced - the total price for my current, 2 bedroom apartment is less than their singles - the apartments are extremely small, everything gets dirty and stays that way no matter how much you clean, the appliances constantly stop working, the drains constantly got clogged, my hot water heater didn't work for MONTHS, the cable they provided was crap, I never could get their free internet to work, the place itself is dirty, NONE of the computers in the computer room EVER worked, the printer never had ink and you had to provide your own paper, people never cleaned up after their pets, they parted SO LOUD and SO LATE, the pool was always trashed, the mail area was a disaster, mail was constantly in the wrong box, the bus was ALWAYS packed, (I was constantly late for class bc I kept having to wait for more buses) and the people in the office were horrible. The ONLY positive thing was the size of the kitchen, but that in no way saves the rest. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I WASTED A YEAR AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN THIS HELL-HOLE. more

I HHAAAATTEEE this place with a passion. They management is HORRIBLE! I moved in Fall of 2011, right after they got ""New management"" that we were not informed of at the time of signing out lease. They are awful. When I moved in the place was FILTHY! They had clearly not cleaned or painted the place before we moved in. The Dish washer and oven were both broken. The tiles in the kitchen were broken and coming off the floor. The Air filter had an inch of dirt on it. We were missing the smoke detector. My roommates and I went straight to the manager the next day and complied. She PROMISED us that they would have someone out there that weekend to repaint and that the rest of the problems would be resolved with in days. which was a BOLD FACED LIE! Not only did no one ever come paint, it took them TWO MONTHS to come fix our other problems. That only happened after making numerous requests a week for them to come out and fix everything. RIDICULOUS! As of a month ago our ice maker broke and we immediately made a request, surprisingly with in a week I get a call while out of town and its the girl from the front desk telling me they fixed my ice maker. However when I got back into town to check not only did it not work the one they ""replaced"" it with was just sitting on my kitchen table. Clearly not resolving anything. Since then I have made maintenance every couple days and a month later they still have not come and fixed it. Not only that a good 1/2 of the equipment in the gym in unfunction-able. The Club house is constantly filled with boxes of who knows what. The computer labs printer only works half of the time and most the computers hardly work. The gates only started working as of April 2012, (A good most of the time they wont open though so you have to wait for someone to come out the exit and race in though there) DO NOT LIVE HERE! more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I live in a four bedroom with some of my bestfriends and we could not imagine living somewhere else in san marcos! I would recomend this place to any one! My bills are super low and staff is great! more

I am currently living at the Heights 2 and I love it! From day one moving in has been amazing from the staff to the conditon of the property! The enviornment is amazing and not mention the THREE amazing pools! Rent is low and the furniture that comes with looks great! I loved it so much I just renewed!!!!!!! more
