(This review is in response to the following review page:) (InsiderPages) I am the mother of the ""unruly"" 8 year old being discussed in the previous reviews. Although the circumstances are shocking and horrible to do to any child the end result was the BEST thing that could have happened to my young gymnast. I am how ever not over looking the situation by all means, it was inexcusable. Coaches should NOT treat their athletes poorly, they should be thankful to have them on their team and that they have chose to dedicate themselves for all the strenuous hours involved in their training, instead ""Coach Kathy"" treats them as her own personal gain and then dismisses them after they become ""unruly"". My daughters situation was unfair and let me clarify that she is anything but ""unruly"". She is a kind young girl that shows dedication and never wants to disappoint anyone. To be told ""SHAME ON YOU"" and stuck in a ""TIME OUT"" is uncalled for and I believe any parent that had a coach treat their child this way would be anything but understanding. I thank the person that wrote the ""DISGUSTED"" post. I am happy to see that there are people in this world that will not tolerate an unprofessional business owner never the less have their child go to a gym like this. Also, to the ""CLOSE THIS GYM"" post...I too have filed a complaint with the USAG and AAU. I 100% agree that there has been several violations of their ethics policy's. In addition, we were under the assumption our daughter was registered as a sanctioned gymnast for the past 3 years and have recently learned she is not. I urge anyone looking for a wonderful gym to better your future gymnast to look else where. After spending three LONG years holding my breath in fear of speaking to Kathy this has been the best possible blessing that could have happened, I only wished it could have happened sooner. more

Please dont put too much of a stake in the positive reviews as those have obviously been created by Kathy the owner. If you look at the dates of the posts, you will see they are all bunched up around the same date which is completely unrealistic when you only have 11 reviews. My daughter is a higher level gymnast at another gym and i have been ripped off by Kathy. Ask around and I am sure you will find someone that will have a negative story about her and her gym. By default because of her gym location, she is also the Twinsburg HS coach and there is a strong group of girls that wil never compete for Twinsburg as long as she is the coach. If you are going to spend your hard earned money on gymnastics (and it gets expensive real quick no matter where you go), spend it elsewhere. If you do decide to try out Turles, pay attention to the age of the ""coaches"" as they average about 16 years old. I dont want them spotting my daughter. more
