Good place to go if you want to get ripped off 12/11/2014

If you are in the mood to get ripped off and receive less than yard sale value for your vintage vinyl, CD sets, DVDs, etc. then this is the place for you! I brought Beatles, Stones, Marley, Dead vintage Country vinyl, boxed set CDS and full RECENT TV shows like "The Good Wife" and all they did was count them and offer 50 cents a piece. This is NOT a place for seriously collectors. It is just a place to go dump your crappy stuff that you cannot unload anywhere else. And as an extra bonus, if you point out that they are not giving fair value, they actually YELL at you. Real classy. more

not everything is as it appears... 2/20/2009

I recently took my entire collection of CD music to the Marlton site, on the recommendation of friends and web-based comments. I was looking for top $ for this collection that is in pristine, Mint Condition_ All the write up regarding this location indicated that they were paying 2-3 $ per cd, not so they only offered me .50$ for each, which is so not fare. Lesson to be learned these types of cd's are not the investment once thought, be weary of all the hype around this and other place looking to make money on the backs of hard-working Music lovers as myself. Of coarse in these dire financial times I am force into settling for the offer as it will make the difference in being homeless next month. Under other circumstances I would take my cd's and run, and maybe een hold onto them until I could find buyer willing to pay top $ an appreciate all the rare finds within the collection. So I'm not happy with Tunes and would most likely not recommend this sell service to any of my friends. I however did not peruse the store for any new treasures, so can not attest to it's other area's of sales and selection. distressed in NJ! more

This place is awesome! They sell used CD's, DVD's, Records, and other stuff. CD's as low as $.50. Great selection. The only bad thing is that you have to sift through everything, it's not in any kind of order. It is usually worth a couple hours . When you go pet their cat it's a sweetie!!! more

Nice stuff 7/19/2005

I like tunes Cd because of its wide merchandise selection and good location. I really love how they sell all sorts of electronics. They are like a cross between RadioShack and Tower Records! I hate the prices, who pays $15 for a CD nowadays? I think their prices are awfully high, especially because of how Wal-Mart and Best Buy sell CDs and all the accessories they sell for a whole lot less. Sam Goody specializes in music, both recorded and accessories. It is this focus and devotion to music that makes them special. Once they lose their focus though, this store will no longer stand out. more

I can spend so much time and money in this store. Not that it's an expensive place, it's just that when I go I want to buy it all. They have everything you can ever want when it comes to recorded music. They have old and new cd's and dvd's. They even have new and used video games and video tapes. The one thing that does save me a little bit of money is that you can trade in your cd's and dvd's here. more
