If you have curly hair, you owe it to yourself to go see Tisha Marquart at Tru Awakenings Salon & Spa and get a good haircut. Actually, if you have any hair at all you should see...

I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I was scheduled for a facial and received a call an hour prior to my appoint that Whitney had a color mishap and would have to change ...

I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY HAIR NOW! 1/23/2011

I could never find anyone who could work with my hair. I was told that I had to get a permenant if I wanted curly hair. Tru Awakenings (Nicole Peterson) was able to cut my hair and bring out the natural curl. Nicole is a real caring person. You can feel it when you sit down and talk with her. She listens to what you are looking for in a hair cut. She is always able to accomodate my schedule which I appreciate. I would highly recommend trying out the services provided at Tru Awakenings. It is a calming atmosphere to walk into. more

The Salon for ME! 1/18/2011

Tru Awakenings is a fabulous place to get your hair done. Finding someone who can work with my curly hair hasn't always been easy, but once I found Nicole Peterson @ Tru Awakenings, I haven't gone to anyone else for the last 7 years. I can always expect great customer service and a great experience whether I am getting my hair done or waxed. I was just there to get my hair cut and highlighted and flat ironed. I am extremely happy with the results. My hair even came out softer than normal. They are always able to accommodate my schedule which I appreciate. The surroundings @ the salon are always clean and beautiful. I definitely recommend this salon to meet anyone's needs. more

I love my hair now! 1/18/2011

I've been going to Tru Awakenings for 4 years for my hair needs and I had never settled on one place before. Now my hair always comes out the same, I get in when I want and theres always parking. In fact I have an appointment tomorrow morning and can't wait. It's a beautiful salon and I get to go in and just relax and know I'll come out looking gorgeous. more

Tru Awakenings will not disappoint!!! Go there 1/18/2011

Nicole has been making me beautiful for a while now. Her new salon is just past "Big Al's" on Barrows and it's gorgeous. There's a lot of talent in this place not to mention the products, the services and especially the staff...It's a fun place and you leave feeling good! I get my hair cut and colored and it looks fresh, trendy and the way I want it. Nicole always listens to my whinning which is certainly a plus...lol GO THERE, you will love this place. more

Tru Awakenings is AWESOME! 1/18/2011

I had my short, fine, hair cut and highlighted by Nicole at Tru Awakenings - They are up at the top of Scholls Ferry - They are in a new location. I get so many compliments! People stop me in stores and restaurants. I will continue to go there for years to come! more

Audrey at Tru Awakenings is AMAZING! 12/13/2010

went in for a haircut & a highlight. I was a little nervous because I hadn't been there before, but the salon was close to my house and I wanted to give it a try. Audrey was available and she took the time to talk with me to learn exactly what I wanted. She took into consideration my hair texture and skin color before even starting on my haircut or mixing the color. The haircut and highlights were FABULOUS! My hair tends to be warm and can turn red, but the hightlights were a beautiful carmel color, very natural looking. The haircut felt great and I received so many compliments on it. I will DEFINITELY see her again! more
