I was very interested in a gun at trop. I made an offer on a used gun. The salesman was less then courtious in his declining the offer. I felt he could at least decline. with out making the customer feel dumb, or make a counter offer. I immediatley left and went to Kinseys Outdoors where I purchased a 336 marlin in 35 rem for a fair price that same day. I am confident that more hunters will shop at trop when they begin to respect their clients. This does not mean that they should sell at the customers price, it simply means a respect for there loyal custmors. p.s trop does have one of the best selections of used guns in the area. more

We actually stop at Trop whenever we are in Etown just to see what they have in the way of used guns. They are VERY good about checking ID and etc. for proper paperwork. The store is a bit cramped in my opinion; perhaps they will add on someday? more

Great Services Offered 8/17/2005

The Trop Gun shops offers more than just hunting supplies for example they carry a wide selection of both new and used handguns, clothes, fishing items (lures, rods etc.) and they also have a taxidermist on the premises. My husband has bought of few of his rifles here and felt the prices were fair and that he was treated well. Overall you will be able to do better price wise on most items at the bigger stores but this store is very convenient and the clerks are quite helpful. more

Nice, Convenient Gun Shop 8/8/2005

Trop Gun Shop is a nice little store. My father has gone there many times before and has generally been pleased. It can be a bit harder to find then some shop (located on Cloverleaf Road), but if you are familiar with the area it is very easy to find. The prices are not bad but they don't have as many things and options as some of the bigger stores such as Kinsey's or Cabela's would have. It's a nice shop overall and very convenient! more

From Fishing to Hunting You Will Find Everything You Need 8/3/2005

The joke is our house, is my husband keeps the Trop in business. They carry a wide selection of rifles as well as handguns plus ammunition for just about every type of gun available. The also have a nice selection of fishing and camping items. There is a gunsmith that is on the premises which is and added bonus. more
