We just moved to Powell and love this place. While visiting looking at houses we came here every single time. The only downside is that they were closed over the holidays. =0( I am surprised by the tip complaints. I guess if you tip you won't get chased down in the parking lot. LOL. If there is an issue you should let them know and tip accordingly but to run away because you don't feel like tipping seems wrong. Leave a tip or eat at home. more

Love it!!! 8/20/2009

I almost didn't lunch here because of the reviews...not that they are so bad, but with all the options why go to less than a 4 or 5? Could have been a big mistake! This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I have been there several times and have always enjoyed our meal and our service. The patio is a great option for those who enjoy eating outside too! more

GREAT service and food 7/12/2009

Our waiter was awesome! Watterson HS graduate who was very friendly and competent. The food was great and we will eat there again. more

DO NOT EAT HERE 6/4/2009

Waiter was unhappy with tip of $23 and chased us into the parking lot and said "Thanks for the F'n tip" in front of a bunch of kids. When speaking with the owner the waiter came up and dared the owner to fire him. The place was mostly empty and it will probably go out of business soon! I dont think they are doing to well. They have probably chased off most of their customers. more

I'll second that: it's dependable 12/17/2008

Seems like I'm usually jonesin' for a gyro when I get there, but we have tried practically everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Good thing is that it's usually easy to get in to. My wife loves the Kota Aginares and the kids always want the Saganaki to get the flaming "opah!". Service has always been friendly making it a solid choice. more

Excellent Greek food comes to Powell 3/18/2006

I love Greek food and so was very excited to try Tria. The food does not disappoint. The cucumber sauce is garlicky enough to be excellent. The pita is fresh and soft. The Moussaka and Pastitsio are excellent as well. Only the lemon drop soup was inadequate - thin and too salty. The turn around time for lunch there is also way too long. Both times we went for lunch, it was very long wait to receive our food and then our check. The restaurant was not busy at either time. Prices are reasonable. The traffic on powell Rd During peak travel times and when there is a train can make ingress/egress a bit nightmarish. more

Greek Food that's dependable 10/18/2005

Tria has my favorite hummus and feta spreads! I recommend going for a greek salad and pita with spreads. You can get full off of just that! It is a lot of hummus and the roasted red pepper and feta spread is AWESOME (feta kafterri). Their selection of Greek wines are great as well. Try a dry white wine from Santorini. They have the normal stuff also: great Dolmathes, baklava, and flaming cheese. The dolmathes are excellent, and an appetizer size is plenty. This place is just great! more
