Traveling outside of our home state was something we couldn't really afford when my children were small. Michigan is such a beautiful state, we never saw a true need to leave it so we never really explored our options. Well, the kids are grown and we decided to explore. We started with a long drive from Michigan, to Kentucky, to West Virginia and back. We loved it!. Next up, we flew to Vegas. My 1st time on a plane. That was awesome! (I will now fly anywhere). We took another drive to Nashville, Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, Hurricane Mills, Memphis, through Mississippi to Louisiana. We spent a few days in NOLA & did a LOT of exploring & walking, then were on our way back for a stop in Nashville with a visit to the Opry and back to MI. I was officially obsessed, planning dream trips for myself (even if I never get to go), planning trips and activities for Family & Friends. I just want you to find the happiness that I have in traveling without the headaches.
