Transmission Technicians

I just called Tansmission Technicians and I spoke to Walter about my truck. He told me the repair should run $2000.00 or less depending on the problem..I explained it was at my general repair service shop and I wasn't certain if it was a good idea for them to fix it being they aren't a transmission shop....they gave me a price of $2500.00 and said it would take 5 days to repair the Tranny. After thinking about it, I decided to go with Transmission Tech, being They have a flat bed and will pick up. I also thought that I will be saving at least $500.00 and they will have it ready in 3 days....well..wish me luck.....I'll let you know how this works out...They say cheap is expensive......I hope not in this situation..\r MG. more

I had my transmission repaired by them about two weeks ago. They did a fantastic job to say the least. The staff was friendly and took the time to answer all my questions without hesitation or making me feel inferior. Over all my car runs like new and I didn't have to lose much time from work because they got me back up and running so fast! Thank you again! more

They did my transmision in my honda two yrs ago. Best price and they did a good job... I love my honda!!!! So glad it still runs with 221,000 miles lol! The japanese make great cars, just dont eat the fish.... more

Brought my vehicle back 3 times. Rebuilt the transmission (1st time) 11 month later blown (2nd time) brought it back, rebuilt it again, that evening hose not installed right all transmission spilled all over the floor almost blew the rebuilt transmission (3nd time) One month later, transmission fluid once again spilled out, they say it requires another fix and charged again (4th time). Well lets see now if it was fixed right the first time, these things would not have happened, if it was fixed right the second time, these things would not happen. Now I have paid $1,600.00 the first time, honored warranty second time, fixed their mistake the third time, well now another $900.00 the last time, to never see my face, or anyone I know ever use their service again. Take it from me, take your vehicle to someone who is reputable, and know what they are doing. Fix it right the first time! No trust on my part here, and never to see my face again.
