I went to Transformations Salon all throughout high school and college. Melissa did fun things with my hair and it always turned out great! I got compliments - every time I turned around people would ask me, ""Where did you get your hair done?"" :-) I live in a different city now so it's harder to get to my favorite salon to see my girls but I still had Melissa and Transformations do my hair for my wedding. I trust them 100% and could not be happier with all the work I've had done there! Pros: Sweet, friendly people, great hair! more

Just want to say thank you to the staff and management at Transformations salon. They were such great help on the day of our daughters wedding. They were able to fix the hair of the whole wedding party. Melissa and here staff are very talented and listen to what you would like to have done to your hair, they made great suggestions on what might be better for each one of the girls in the wedding party. wish I had read the reviews prior to ever going to Transformations. I went there today and literally left in tears because I was left with only one inch of hair on my head. She left bleach on my hair too long. The manager and owner spoke with me and tried to place the blame upon me by stating I should've never came in there with damaged hair. I never once thought I had damaged hair until after they ruined it.As I read these reviews and see how someone bashes raencre and to put her name on this site, goes to prove and show how they treat their customers. I'm sure now they'll be bashing me here for speaking against their hair services that my kid could've done such a far better job. I walked out when all of these women yelled in my face as they tried to blame me. I too am contemplating sueing this salon as this other person is. I don't understand how they can get away with truly destroying someone's hair so poorly and act like it's my fault. As I told my friends where I went today, they told me they have had several friends that got their hair destroyed by transformations that's on western blvd. Hi, I am a master hair stylist that has been a stylist for over 20 years and I work at a very upscale and classy salon.I'm writing a review based upon several clients hair that I've had to rectify not only extreme damage to their hair but one particular case as of late, a woman came into my salon from transformations with hair broken off to two inches of hair. She had asked Transformations to color her hair, blonde and she literally came into the Salon with bright glowing orange hair and in tears. Another lady that came into my salon,had seven colors in her hair due to Transformations.She had asked the stylist to color her hair brown and put blonde highlights in her hair.Any stlylist knows the difference between colored hair and natural hair.They had this ladies hair, white, gray, red,orange ..highlights. Also, I had to cut two inches off the right side of her hair because that's how uneven they cut her hair. We get several people a month at my salon alone to have to fix their messed up jobs on clients. Sadly, normally at my salon it would cost $100.00 for a cut with color and highlights, but these women are paying $250.00 for us stylist to have to remedy their damaging and appalling work. They do hire cosmetologists fresh out of beauty school with hardly any experience and I've been told by their former employees that when a stylist messes up a clients hair, that the stylist goes sin the back with the co-workers which apparently are all friends, saying don't worry I've got your back and have been told they get belligerent with their patrons. It has also been brought to my attention by previous employees of theirs, that they write these great reviews on here to get business and due to their conduct with customers and the true bad reputation they've got for ruining hair,that's how they try to promote business is by having to write incredible reviews about themselves. I do know my customers have told me, they're reporting them to the better business bureau and launching law suits. I normally would never write a review to talk badly about any salon but due to the beyond horrifying work not only myself and co-workers have to fix a lot of,I feel it's only the right thing and Christ like thing to do by letting people know. I have been a customer for nearly 16 years and I have never had a bad experience with the staff. Children love it there and they are color experts! They will give you lovely, healthy, natural looking hair color and styles. I have had people stop me to ask where I have my hair done many, many times. They go out of their way to please their customers and create a warm, relaxing environment. They will take walk ins, through you might have to wait because they are a very popular salon. It is best to make an appointment, but all the ladies are wonderful, professional, Christian women. Pros: Very friendly and professional more
