The Perfect Dive 7/17/2008

Absolutely fabulous! I can't say enough... I was fairly skeptical, I mean, it really is a hole in wall place, and I only got a bean and cheese burrito- how great can that be? From the first bite, I was floored. The cheese (one white, one yellow) was gooey and flavorful, oozing through the beans, plus there was fresh pico and an absolutely beautiful avocado. And I paid less than $5 for that. Are you kidding me?\r \r My friend got a chicken and cheese quesedilla and a steak taco (great, and cheap), and we shared an order of surprisingly varied fruit. Best Burritos in Town 10/25/2006

Everytime someone comes into town and asks for a good burrito place, this is where I take them. It's a nicely hidden secret in Sherman Oaks. Only 6 booths and 3 tables, but you can always find a seat. Get the Fiesta or Santa Fe Burrito and make sure to ask for extra limes. They give you a free dessert which is UNBELIEVABLE (like yogurt with berries, but a secret blend they won't reveal). I can't believe this restaurant is not on the top burritos of LA chart. I've had a hell of a lot of burritos and this place is the bomb. Pros: Great Food, Great Price more

Great Takeout 1/15/2006

I have not eaten on the premises but my husband and I recommend this for mexican takeout. We had the chicken enchiladas (green sauce), beef burrito and beans and it was so fresh tasting! The tortillas were very soft and the salsa was perfect. I am so excited to try more on the menu. Pros: Taste, Price, Healthy more

someone recently told me about this place, we tried it and loved it. great healthy mexican food, and the wait staff are extremely nice and cordial. while this place looks like a hole in the wall, don't be reserved about trying it. the shrimp burritos, the quesadillas and everything else we've tried are delicious and not GREASY, as is common in most places. lunch time can be a zoo in there, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. prices are great, too. a good friend of mine took me here, and i immediately fell in love. so nice to have a familiar, locally-owned place to get great tasting, healthy mexican served with a smile. the food is prepared lightly, but the portions are filling. it's a relaxed atmosphere, cozy and friendly. very easy on the old wallet, too. Healthy, cooked to order, inexpensive. You can get the grilled chicken plate with veggies, beans, quacamole, unlimited chips & salsa and complimentary fruit bowl for under $10. A refreshing baja coastal mexican food than the more greasy mexican food we are used to down here in Southern Cali. No frills! Good Eats! Pros: value more
