ProMedica Toledo Children's Hospital is the region's only accredited hospital exclusively for children, as we successfully pass the accreditation process set forth by The Joint Commission demonstrating our commitment to providing our patients and families with the highest quality of care.
Our patient care tower features a 60-bed newborn intensive care unit (NICU) with individual patient rooms and a calm, peaceful atmosphere resembling the sheltered environment of the womb.
The facility was also designed to accommodate the unique needs of pediatric cancer patients in the Debbie Brass Children's Cancer Center. Featuring a family-centered experience, the pediatric hematology/oncology unit offers isolation from other hospital areas, fun and whimsical wall murals, and advanced monitoring systems.
