Ok so I needed a motorcycle repair shop for my 83 Honda V-45 Magna. Had bike for over 20 years and only 35K on the miles. So this is the first time the bike has been down for what I'd call a major repair. Clutch problems. Long story short did all of the replacement parts myself but could not get clutch to bleed. Now with my lack of cycle repair knowledge and local Honda dealer will only repair 1995 and above, I seemed to be without a place to go for repair. Logged on for local repair shops and did some reading of reviews for the local shop I was going to go to. Thunder Valley Powersports in Plymouth. Review says this is a crook, liar, conman and stupid guy. You get what you deserve if you read this and go there anyway. Well I went there anyway. I have a business and I know that you can""t please everyone all the time. So with that in hand and no derespect to the reviewer I found Carl to be just the oppisite of stupid, conman or anything else other than just a nice guy with a cool dog. The guy could have told me anything about my bike and I would have paid it because I have been down for two months now, and have paid over $500.00 in parts that I probably did'nt need. I was pay whatever. He sad if only needed to be bleed and it would be $45. I decided to have the front and rear brakes done while the bike was in the shop. I walked out with a bill for about $200. for repair and new brakes. The Honda place would not touch my bike. So in my opinion and we all have one I say if you have an older model bike and you want good service with a reasonable price, I say see this Carl and the dog in Plymouth and he will fix you up. The shop is clean he has a very relaxed and layed back attitude that is good for biker business. Bikers beware you might like this kind of one on one repair. The guy has my vote anyday.
