Cheesecake Factory has GREAT food! 7/6/2009

Immediate seating for 2 on a Saturday night @ the Pleasanton Cheesecake Factory..no way! Yep, that was the case for this couple Jayson & Mary, but immediate seating was for outdoor patio else 30-min wait for indoor seating. It was definitely windy in Pleasanton for a flippin' June Saturday, but hey this IS the Bay Area..at least all outdoor heating lamps were on & we were dressed ok to sit outside. SERVICE: The staff here is on point w/ the thorough follow up from the moment you sit down 'till your receipt for signature (or change) is brought back to you. Our main waiter & his colleagues were all friendly w/ smiles, gracious w/ patience, & courtesous w/ the follow-ups. Also didn't seem to take forever to get our drinks or our food...timing was well managed & executed. Keep up the good work team ;-) FOOD: We've been to this Cheesecake Factory numerous times, & the food/drinks/desserts have always tasted excellent & what I like to say ""made w/ the chef's love""...or ""made w/ the bartendar's love"". Bread & butter served upon request I noticed...or asked if you'd care for some; economic times doesn't allow this to be an automatic anymore. Anywho, BF had the Pineapple Mojito w/o the mint (honestly the mint just gets in our way) & I had the Carribean Cooler. Pineapple Mojito is a great recommendation...the CCooler was just eeeh-ok, I'll prob try another cocktail next time. The BF & I just had our own ""family style dinning"" (sharing)...order 3 apps & 1 pizza *tee-hee*! Crisy Crab Wontons were absolutely delicious! I was intimidated to order the Stuffed Mushrooms for my own reasons, but the BF wanted them...those lil' suckers were pretty tasty! Next we had the Fried Calamari, nothing special here except their Garlic Dip! THIS dip is tasty on anything...added nicely to our Spicy Meat Pizza (typically we dip our pizza in Ranch Dressing). The pizza is cooked I'd say thin crust & great w/o the dip, but we'd recommend asking for Garlic Dip for an extra kick ;-) Final tab for 2 cocktails, 3 apps, & 1 pizza came to $59 bucks *woo-hoo!* No room for dessert this trip, although any of their cheesecakes are highly & always recommended. Everything we ordered (w/ exception of Carribean Cooler & Fried Calamari) is recommended for orginality, taste, & scrum-didly-umptous factor! Yes, we will continue to come to this CF location ;-) Pros: Excellent customer service w/ great food! Cons: Typically a long wait to dine inside more

Awesome Roasted Vegetable & Feta Cheese Pizza! 4/30/2009

We went here for a happy hour meal (M-F from 4-6, 50% off their lounge appetizer limited menu), starting off by sharing their delightful spicy ahi tempura roll...delicious! Their chopped salad and BBQ pulled pork sliders were pretty awesome cheap eats, too (at least during happy hour!) The last time we came was for dinner...DH had the Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya (which he loved) and I had the Roasted Vegetable and Feta Cheese Pizza...a definite must-have-again for my next pizza craving! Pros: Roasted Veggie & Feta Cheese Pizza, BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders Cons: Long wait on Friday & Saturday nights...not surprising! more

You won't leave hungry 2/14/2009

The Cheesecake Factory is a great restaurant for families, small parties, and just being out with friends having a great time. The food here is actually pretty good for a chain and the cheesecakes are so over the top you might be tempted to skip an entree and go straight to dessert. The decor is fun, bright and clean with a lean toward fantasy. Be prepared to just sit for a while to read the encyclopedia sized menu. It's great to have so many choices especially when you are out with a group - there is something for just about everyone. Huge drink menu as well, especially if you like fun and fruity.\r \r Family friendly, great for kids. Great staff. Very friendly and professional. There is also the bonus of walking off the calories after your meal while you shop in the adjoined mall. I highly recommend this restaurant. Pros: Everything more
