Can't say enough great things about this place. Drove all the way in from Grand Prairie for a remote start alarm on my new Honda. They knew exactly what I needed and explained all the different options before I made a choice. Very friendly, great selection of aftermarket gear for sound systems too. I have not made a choice on upgrading yet but when I do I'll definitely be using Texas Audio. more

Excellent work...I took my new 2012 Buick LaCrosse in too get dual dvd headrests installed and the process couldn't have gone any better. Color match on my biege leather seats was perfect great cost and they even gave me a ride too and from work. I would recommend then to anyone. After 2 months of reading reviews, doing stop by's, and calling shops on the phone, this was hands down the best decision I made. I had a very high end install, $2,000 just in equipment for them to put in. After talking with David over the phone, he listed out the prices per peice of equipement and settled for a specific price. That price never changed and the installation was flawless. Stop trying to go for Earmark, Soundscape (worst shop ever), JR's Custom Audio, and Lux. Those are all highly ranked but will try to add parts that aren't needed to make an easy buck. Ask for David or JR and tell them Ross sent you. more

Came all the way from Irving, and it was well worth the drive. Service was clean and quick. The salesman was very informative and recommended a great sound system and alarm package. Overall a very pleasant experience. Top notch shop. more

I recently had several thousand dollars of stereo equipment installed into my truck. Nav, subs, components, dynamat, alarm/autostart... the whole 9. I was referred to Texas audio by the first place that I took my truck. They said that the job was too big for their shop but referred me to Texas Audio. (you know they do good work if they are getting business sent to them by their COMPETITION!) I walked in 15 minutes prior to closing on Thannksgiving eve. I was greeted at the door by the owner and his son. Jr. is the most knowledgable person that I have ever dealt with. And fast ...another place quoted me 4 days.. Jr and his shop did it in 2. He kept me aware of everything that was going on and consulted when we hit a few snags. In the end my truck is bumpin' and I couldn't be happier. I will send everyone that I know to this store for all of their car audio needs. Big shout out to Jr. and the guys at Texas Audio. more

Very thorough staff. I had bad experience in the past with other shops, but I went to them for an alarm. They got me in and out in a jiff, plus they fixed a few audio problems I had from a previous install free on the house. They didn't have to do that, but they shure as heck got my business from now on. I definately recommend them for anything car audio and alarms more

I purchased my 2011 Honda CR-V with plans to install an aftermarket all-in-one navigation system and a HomeLink mirror. After checking out some systems online I went looking for someone to install them. The auto dealers wouldn’t touch the mirror installation. The big name car audio stores treated me like I was clueless and naïve. After reading reviews on Texas Audio, I dropped in to chat with Junior. He shared his knowledgeable of current systems without talking down to me. I returned a week later to get an estimate for the navigation system and both installs. They matched or beat the online prices. Three hours later all the work was completed FLAWLESSLY…AND for much less than the big guys wanted to charge me. Junior even spent another hour helping me set up and learn how to use the product. Look no further these guys are AWESOME! more

I have had work done on my car in the past, by big name places like Fry's and Cartoys but I have never had such quality work done for such a cheep price. The staff is very thorough, and are eager to work with you to get what you want. They honestly don't rest until you are satisfied. Further more, it is a family business with over 30 years in the Car Audio business, as well as a well stocked shop and talented installers. To digress, I must say shop is the ONLY place i plan on doing business with from now on. They cater to the entry level all the way up to the high range customers, so it is easy to upgrade and keep your business at the same place. more

Super friendly staff, helped explain to me the basics of car audio/video/security. Gave me different options to fit my budget. Sold me exactly what I wanted and it did exactly what they promised. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! It was wonderful. Never in the last 10 years can I remember anybody working on my car that I did not have a problem and have to come back. With these guys, business is straight. No crooked dealings, just tell them what you want, and BOOM....its done. Thanks guys, I already passed out all your cards and I need to come get some more for the rest of my friends. I have been looking to upgrade my stock factory system on my Nissan Titan for about a year now, so I visited a few places and did a bunch of research online, all with no luck. You'd be surprised at how many salespeople make you more confused leaving the shop then when you went in and it seems like everything I found online was falsely advertised and too ""blingy"" for me to actually take seriously. My family members have been using these guys for years, so I decide to drive all the way down from Cleburne to give them a chance. Man was I relieved to find a group of guys that actually listened to me and my needs before making suggestions and educating me on the different products and set ups that I was privy to. They made me feel comfortable with my choice and let me hear everything in the soundroom before they took apart my baby and got to work. The finished result was immaculate. I couldn't find one wire and everything was hidden and tuned perfectly. I never knew music could sound so good in my vehicle. I loved it so much that I came back and got my windows tinted and had them put a flip-down DVD monitor for my kids in my wife's SUV. I recommend them strongly to everybody out there looking for honest guys and excellent installation. Pros: Awesome service, Great products, Professional work!!! ive been using texas audio for all my car audio work for almost 2 years now and have never left un satisfied with my purchases. salesmen are very friendly, very helpful, and wont try and push you towards something you dont want or need. being a former car toys customer i've always over paid for good work, now i dont have to. if your looking for quality work, these guys are the best in business. store front says it all. they tinted my 05 bmw 530i, hard wired my radar detector, and installed my old system out of another car for the price i was quoted to get it tinted at moon shadow and alta mere. highly recommended. Pros: clean environment, fast, quality work, great prices Cons: they only have one location, not a chain more
