Ted's is a great place, it's true. A big, well-light room with pool tables, a Cheers-like bar, a full dinner menu, and even chairs for smokers. But the reality is that the drinks are expensive ($8 for a glass of Hess Chardonnay! That bites!), the food is mediocre (soggy calamari is the pits), and the price of pool is extorionate ($10 an HOUR!? Are you crazy?). So you're better off heading to the Pint Size or Peri's, where a pool game costs less than a buck, or to Rafter's, where the food is better. It's too bad there isn't enough competition for a place like Ted's to pull it together.
