Best Fish, Hamburgers, and Potato Salad 3/15/2005

This has to be the number one spot to eat in Pinellas County for Smoked Mackeral, Mullet, Salmon, Hamburgers, and German Potato Salad! They smoke the fish right on the premises. The food is consistently great! Oh, and talk about atmosphere (outdoor dining)..........it's beachy.........you know you are in Florida. They do have indoor dining, though. It is a popular place, so finding a parking space, can be difficult at times. The locals love it, and the tourists make a point of going back when they are down this way. Pros: excellent food Cons: needs better parking more

Burgers are out of this World 5/1/2004

Ted Peters is known for it's smoked fish, but I think that their cheeseburgers are the best in the Bay. Order it with everything on it and a cold root beer in a frosted mug and you will really experience a cheeseburger in paradise! Oh yeah don't forget the fresh German potatoe salad on the side. FANTASTIC! 1/1/2004

Ted Peters is THE place to stop after a day at the beach. The hamburgers are the best you have ever had...similar to Steak and Shake Steak burgers only sooooo much more delicious! Never tried smoked fish, you have GOT to try it here! Cheers/ diner atmosphere. Pros: delicious!, great value, locals eat for 30yrs+ Cons: located off busy road more

An all-around neat place, without all the fanciness and tourist-trap feel.....as geniune close to 'Florida Cracker' as you can get. Smoked mullet and any burger will bring you back for more! Pros: super-friendly, outdoor dining, burgers,smoked mullet more

The Best of the Best 7/2/2003

As a 25 year resident of St. Pete, this is without a doubt the best burger and smoked salmon place on the earth. Not a franchise, but should be. I am surprised that someone would rate Steak and Shake a better place to get a burger. If you like German potato salad, they have the best in the U.S. The wait staff are friendly and always aim to please. Mike and Ted, co-owners, are always on the job to make sure everything is running smooth. Put it on your to do list when visiting the St. Pete/South Pasadena area.
