As a new resident of HHI, I decided to try Taste of Thailand, hoping for some good Pad Thai and some appetizers. I don't know what was more insulting; the bland pad Thai- it was tasteless, dry, and white from lack of spice and/or sauce, or the fact that they're charging almost $20 for it. Sadly, most all pad thai on this island is near twenty bucks, but I can't review anyone elses. After this miserable culinary debacle, I'm afraid to try any others. But the crab rangoon angels were decent. Not great, but decent. Too bad there's not a negative rating here. Pros: Just off Wm Hilton Parkway Cons: Overpriced and bland food more

Stay away 2/9/2005

I now have 'tried' to eat there twice - both times were terrible. There is nothing to good to say about the place. more

do not go 6/24/2004

This could have been the worst Thai food I've ever had. My entree tasted more like chicken alfredo (with all of that cream) than pad thai. There were 2 pieces of shrimp in it and not much chicken at all. I guess they are just trying to be too clever with their fusion cuisine, but then again, they couldnt charge such absurd prices if it was just plain Thai food. Skip this place and go to a generic Chinese or Thai place, you will be much better off. more
