When you first walk in someone will greet you and ask of you would like something to drink. I thought that was very nice because I happened to be really thirsty. Your stylist will come say hi and ask to take your coat, if you have one. They use Paul Mitchell products and I LOVED the way my hair smelt. You could tell it was good quality because the scent stayed with me for a few days after. Laura cut my hair and did a fantastic job. She made me feel very comfortable and made sure to go over what she was doing. This salon is awesome. The price is really reasonable as well! more

I've been to see various hairstylists in the area & none of them did what I asked them to do. I had all but given up when I found Tara Burroughs Salon. Samantha was absolutely amazing!!! She listened to what I wanted, asked questions to understand what I wanted & talked me about what she was doing & why to get the look I wanted. She didn't just cut my hair how she thought it should be, like so many others I've been to. My hair looked great when I walked out of there, I was so happy! I am due for another visit & cant wait to go back! Highly recommended!! more

I have never found a salon that I could call ""home"" so to speak, but I have found in now! Tara Burroughs Salon is beautiful, quiet and friendly. I made an appointment with Lydia and she was waiting for me when I got there. (Most of the time you're left to wait while the hair stylist is running behind schedule) The salon is minimally modern and clean. And everyone offers a smile. I honestly love that it isn't a huge salon with tons of chairs. It's small, quiet and relaxing. There's not a bunch of gossip going on or people running around chatting it up at stations. Lydia gave me her attention, listened to what I wanted, and then executed the plan flawlessly. I have thick, wavy hair and people are always afraid to cut it. I also style it curly (usually with a curling iron) and most people can't style my hair like this for me. They ALWAYS straighten it, which I hate. I told Lydia I style it curly and she guessed that I used a barrel iron (which I do!) and then she styled it just like I do, only using the hair dryer! Took up way less time and turned out beautifully! I also couldn't believe the pricing! Completely reasonable (especially for the service provided!) and makes me want to come back even more! I highly recommend this salon! more

I just have to share my experiences with all my family and friends on this fabulous salon. I am an unhappy salon jumper because I have been unable to find a salon that gives me exactly what I ask for that is up until Tara Burroughs Salon. I read their reviews online so I thought I would give them a try. First, booking services online saves a lot of time. The first thing that caught my eye was Tara Burroughs offers a 50% off your first visit on any and all services with ""New Talent"" hairdressers. Twenty four hours before your appointment you get an email confirming your time and services. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a smiling face and a welcoming attitude. Lydia does my color and cuts and wow, she is always right on with anything I request. She has an attentive ear and gives you exactly what you ask for. When it comes time for the shampooing, another major Wow! If you are anything like me, you don't go to a salon to get your fresh makeup soaked by a wayward water spray. This salon pays attention to that at the shampoo bowl and what's more you will experience the most remarkable head massage of your life and after 10 minutes of finger manipulation to your head you and your scalp will feel totally rejuvenated! When you leave this salon, you will know what experience and professionalism is all about. I highly recommend this salon and Lydia, (Master Hairdresser). more

My experience at Tara Burroughs Salon was absolutely fabulous! Lydia did my cut and color and I was so happy with both. I had people tell me that my hair looked amazing....the best they had ever seen it look and that I should never go anywhere else! I am a permanent client of Tara Burroughs and Lydia!!! more

Was a first time customer at Tara Burroughs and had Tatyana cut and highlight my hair. She did a fabulous job! She took her time and was very precise. (I was there for 4 hours!). My hair looked great and I love the natural looking highlights in my hair! I would highly recommend her! Also there are only a few stylists at this salon, so the atmosphere in very relaxing and not chaotic like the salon I used to go to (and this was on a Saturday afternoon). I love this place--- and in fact am headed there today for another cut by Tatyana! And a big plus...you can download a coupon to get half off your first visit with Tatyana! So half-off her already very reasonable price......no better deal around. Oh, and I have already been sent a coupon for a free deep conditioning treatment. I think I have found my new salon! more

Visited Tara Burroughs Salon for the first time this spring after moving to Georgia. Other customers reviews are spot on. The salon is open-spaced, clean, and very inviting. Tatiana has been my stylist for my last 2 appointments and she's done absolutely beautiful highlights and a haircut. The appointments tend to take much longer than the standard highlight appointment but if you've got the time, she is worth it! After going to the salon for my 3rd visit today, I would feel comfortable seeing any of the stylists. They all seem to do beautiful work. The their customers are always happy! more

I had long hair & wanted a change to short hair, my son & daughter-in-law recommended Lydia at Tara Burroughs Salon. She was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted & gave great suggestions. I love Tara Burroughs Salon; My husband bought a package for me to take five of my friends to Tara\r s Salon for a Wine and Style; We had such a great time and they really made us all look great. I have been back and love everyone who works there as well as Tara. You can't go wrong. They have suggested color's as well as styles for me that have been great. I have a friend who is also going to Tara's from the Wine and Style and has also had a great experience. You can't go wrong at the salon. more

I wrote a review a month ago but realized it never posted! Better late than never. I highly reccomend this salon. I lost my hairstylist (can't find her) that I loved and for over a year I've been trying to find a new salon. No one would listen to me on color (I hate being bleachy blonde) and apparently getting a good cut is hard too (even though I have pretty standard simple long layers)!\r \r That changed when I tried Tara Burroughs Salon - I read reviews and decided to give it a shot. The fact that they offered 50% off first services was key. Not that a good salon service should be cheap but you are taking a leap of faith trying someone new...\r \r Lydia listened to me and gave me her advice on what I should do. I walked out of the salon feeling good about my hair for the first time in a LONG LONG time. I am two weeks overdue on color and I STILL get compliments on my hair!\r \r The cut was perfect as well. Lydia is wonderful! Ladies, if you like layers, Lydia does a great job! I'm really particular about my layers and like them to fall naturally. I told her what I liked and she exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend her! This salon is very welcoming too and has great service! more
