Had lunch at Michoacana yesterday. First of all the service was great, prompt service, and attentive.
Drinks had a nice selection of traditional drinks, including selection of jarritos. Once DC had water (which they were prompt at refilling,) and another had a mixture of tamarind and negro modelo. I had horchata that was quite good.
Chips were served with three salsas, the verde was the best., and we had some guacamole also. Freshly made but a bit underseasoned.
Dining companions had flautas and tortillas with carnitas, pollo and camarones. Chicken tortillas were a bit bland, Flautas were good but nothing to write home about. My lunch was a torta cubana, a mixture of steak, sausage, ham, an egg, hot peppers lettuce tomato mayo on a crusty roll served warm accompanied by fries.
Total for lunch was 35 for three.
Pros: Great sandwiches
Cons: Not as cheap as one would expect
