Tanager Creek Townhomes

The worst place to live. Nancy is deceiving she welcomes you nicely, but once she gets you to sign the lease she wont be as nice anymore. I have lived alot of place and always gotten my deposit back. Tanager creek sued me for living cooking odor behind and get this I was living in tanager for almost 4years. Of course i cooked like any normal family, they made it sound in court as though i used to cook dead cats and dogs and billed me close to $ 1600. Of course the judge sided with me and i worn the case.Make sure to read the lease before you sign it says " you will be billed for cooking odor when you move. So if you chose to live there make sure not to cook at all or else they will see you in court. more

Nothing but good to say. Office staff is friendly and helpful-always. Maintenance is competent and timely. My home is well maintained, I can't hear my neighbors, my dog loves it, my wife like the two stories, we feel comfortable and very much at home. I would recommend this to everyonel. more

I have read the other reviews and don't really get it. Our experience here has been far and above over any previous places we have rented. The homes are older, but are well maintained. If there is a maintenance problem, we call it in and can even get an appointment (we have a dog). The office staff is always friendly and do all they can for us. We have a great view from our home, plenty of places to walk our dog, the neighbors are friendly, the grounds are well kept, and they keep all of the homes in good shape by doing preventitive maintenance. We are very pleased and would recommend Tanager Creek to our family and friends. more

We have lived here for several years and have no desire to live anywhere else. We came from home ownership, downsized, and decided we were done with yardwork, worrying about who to call when something quit working, and wanted to be free to spend our off work hours enjoying ourselves. They are quick to respond to anything we call about, the office staff is friendly and on top of things. Maintenance is quick and never leaves a mess. Our neighbors are friendly and considerate. I would tell everyone that Tanager Creek is a real gem. more

They have every six month checks on the townhomes. They are a joke. My spackle was falling off the ceiling because the fan didn't work in the bathroom, MOLD was growing everywhere and they never fixed it. My sinks were clogged, they never came to fix anything until 2 weeks before we moved -very nice!! When I called about my kitchen ceiling dripping water they said oh that happens! My heat went out about 3 to 4 times during the winter. It took them on average 6 hours to get there. The neighbors are horrible. In the time we lived there I had to take my kids to the E.R. a total of 4 times. The children in that neighbor hood are not supervised...the parents are never home or don't care that there children would throw rocks at other kids or glass (there is always glass around the sidewalk area during the summer time due to broken beer bottles) My kids recieved stiches twice and a little boy that lived behind us shot my daughter in the eye with a pellet gun. I had to make my kids stay on our patio at all times and even then they weren't "safe" It is so expensive that we were really never able to move out until recently. I would strongly not recommend this place for anyone!! more

Good: The location is convenient to freeways. Bad: Services are all low bid. Lousy plowing days after each snow. Crabby, insensitive, penny pinching manager. Antique appliances. Improvements: Rental reduction.. Other: Forget improvements once you dign the lease!!!!. more
