i'm from san diego, and i was introduced to "the tree" about a month ago and now i eat there every tuesday! it is like taco bell, but the veggies and lettuce and everything else ...

Taco Tree is one small step above Taco Bell. What really irks me, is that you can buy more authentic Mexican food at El Portal Taqueria for about the same price..... Taco Tree...

taco tree yay! 12/2/2007

i'm from san diego, and i was introduced to "the tree" about a month ago and now i eat there every tuesday! it is like taco bell, but the veggies and lettuce and everything else are so fresh-its like making tacos at home with ground beef and fresh ingredients and taco shells from out of the box, i guess it has what you would say a "homemade" taste to it. the one on grass valley rd. plays good music. more

Mediocre and overpriced gringo-style mexican fast food 4/27/2007

Taco Tree is one small step above Taco Bell. What really irks me, is that you can buy more authentic Mexican food at El Portal Taqueria for about the same price..... Taco Tree is for "gringos" who don't appreciate real Mexican food. more

Taco Tree, Weird name GREAT food 4/14/2006

I met my husband 11 years ago and one of the first places he took me was Taco Tree. I thought what a weird place it serves fast mexican food and coffee. I was truly loyal to Taco Bell, until I had the food there. Their super nacho blows Taco Bells nacho bell grande out of the water. Since ive lived there I have introduced my sister and friend who both live an hour away to Taco tree. Both of them insist on eating there every time they come through town thats how good it is! more
