Fantastically Fresh! 6/12/2009

I've been to dozens of sushi restaurants and this place by far is the freshest, cleanest, and friendliest place I've been. They've always got specials so you can try new things. Sushi Nest is a small, asian contemporary atmosphere, big on hospitality and suculent sushi & sashimi. If you're looking for a relaxing, intimate date nite out, grab an early movie at the York Theater then kick back at the Nest for tall Kirin, an excellent dinner, and great conversation! more

I love the Sushi Nest 10/2/2007

The Sushi Nest is my favorite place to get sushi. It has a classy, modern atmosphere and great service. I think that the sushi rolls are reasonably priced and super yummy. more

Sushi Nest Sucks! 4/23/2007

I have gone to more than 20 different sushi places around Chicago. This place is by FAR, the worst. Over priced, tasteless rice and fish that is close to freezing. I went in there for lunch and I was the only one there! The staff was nice but they had nothing to do. So they both stood up against the wall watching me EAT! As a side note, the soft drinks are NON refillable. They give you a tiny bottle for 2 dollars. more

Best Sushi Ever 5/11/2006

The sushi nest has a wide assortment of sashimi, which I love. Everything is always fresh and delicious. They usually give you fresh boiled and salted soy been pods, which I am growing to love. I have not yet tried their rolls, but have heard nothing but great things about them, especially the spider and dragon rolls. My one negative for this place is the price. Like most sushi bars, for a sushi dinner, you'll spend more than $50 or $60 for two people. My fiance and I spent $70 for about 20 pieces of sashimi. The chef who makes the sushi is really really nice and talkative, though. If you do go here, I recommend sitting at the bar for nice conversation while you wait for you sushi. more
