Cliff house is over rated and over priced. Food is good, but it should be better for what they charge. I have definetlyhad better for less!

Fantastic views, food & service! Great night life. Romantic and beautiful views of the American river. I love this place! Lots of great food for your money. OVER RATED 7/6/2002

Mediocre view (far from stunning!), mediocre food, mediocre service, mediocre ambience. As a newcomer to the Sacramento area, I certainly hope this restaurant is not one of the best in the area. Everything about this place screams mediocre. From the uninspired bread, to the dried out fish and beef entrees, to the unimaginative vegetable side dishes. These would be more palatable if the prices were more in keeping with the quality of the food. Cons: Expensive, Mediocre food more
