Studio 201 Hair & Color Salon

You know the story...been with the same stylist for several years and she moves out of state. Did a lot of searches and took my time but my hair was getting out of hand. I stopped in at Studio 201 just to look around and it looked nice. Made an appointment with Lindsey and she is exceptional. Gave me a great haircut and I will go back again. more

I can't even begin to single out one employee, the whole staff rocks! the environment consist of everything you could ask for from a salon and spa. a young staff that is very pleasent and experts in customer relations. general conversation, celebrity gossip, product advice, etc. tho there has been mixed reviews due to former and possibly sore employees, the management continues to build a staff that benefits me or you as customers. as far as skin care, treatments, and/or waxings...Holly Mcgarrity is as good as it gets. you can just feel it in her touch....very sensuous and relaxing with the warmest of personalities. great job studio 201! Yesterday I had the most positive experience at a hair salon that I have ever had in Nashville or Miami (my other home)! First, I was able to get an appointment with just one day's notice for cut and color AFTER I had a very bad experience at a local department store ""spa"" and also at a salon in Miami. My color was ""washed out"" and chunky and I had been ""butchered"". Lindsey gave me the best color and highlights I have ever had and also gave me a GREAT cut. It was truthfully the first time I have not come home and redone my hair! She was able to recemmend a wonderful styling product as well. The atomsphere is very warm and friendly and I was offered something to drink; Tara, the owner and Lindsey were both very easy to talk to and, even though there were tornado warnings coming our way, Lindsey took her time and you can tell by looking at my hair that she is a SUPER stylist! Being new to the area, I used citysearch to find a new stylist. Based on the reviews, I decided to give Studio 201 a try. I was able to get an appointment on 2 days notice. Since my appointment was on a Saturday, I brought a book, assuming I would have to wait. This was not the case, as I was taken right back. I was offered a drink immediately. Lindsey gave me the best cut I have had in years, and she really took the time to recommend a great product and show me how to get the same results at home. The owner herself offered me a cup of coffee and sat down to chat, I felt like an old friend! The overall atmosphere was lighthearted and fun, I will be referring everyone I know to Lindsey and Studio 201! Pros: Excellent cut for inexpensive, overall atmosphere more

I have been coming to Studio 201 for quite some time now and I absolutely love this place!! Always so sweet and offer me refreshments and entertaining conversation!! My original stylist left there so I started seeing Paty and I have to say I think she's GREAT. My color is perfect and the cut was just the way I wanted it. Paty took great care of me. She gave me a wonderful professional cut. She really took her time with me and asked me what I wanted. The salon was comfortable and convenient. I will definitely go back! more

I have been coming to this salon for a while and just about seen everyone there. As far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong. Brows I'd say Holly McGarrity and her facials are great!! Jodie and Brittney SPEARS (yes that's her real name) are both wonderful with HLs and cuts. Easy going, stress free environment and Tara always has the latest celebrity gossip!! Although they have 2 more stylist but I haven't been to them yet! LOL Pricing is very reasonable for the quality services you get I WOULD RECOMMEND !! I wrote a review in July and raved about Jodie. She no longer works for Studio 201 so if you are looking for her to be your stylist, call her at 885-5055. I just can't say enough about her. I recently had my hair done by her at her new salon and it turned out awesome. I continue to get compliments on the color and cut. I am so glad I found her after she changed salons. I went to Studio 201 last night for a hair cut, highlights and eyebrow wax. I hope I never have to go anywhere else because I was so pleased with all aspects of my experience. First of all, I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly (2 days) and I was able to get a 5 pm appointment, which helped me tremendously because I could go after work. My appointment was with Brittany and she was so nice and helpful and did a wonderful job. My color and cut is perfect. It is so hard to find a hair stylist who will really listen to you and offer you honest advice. Now that I have found a place I like, I will keep going there as long as they are there. I am a big fan of Aveda, in addition to that, the staff at Studio 201 take great care of their patrons. Todd and the other staffs at Studio 201 are friendly and helpful for the customers' needs. This is MY salon. I love going there and seeing Stephanie. Unfortunately, she's always booked on Saturdays (you have to call at least two weeks in advance for Saturdays). I made the mistake of trying a different salon when I was desperate. Never again. Once you go to Studio 201, you won't go any where else. Totally reasonably priced for the experience.
