Storm Tight Windows, Inc.

Two years ago a Storm Tight sales person came to my home and explained what kinds of windows they have and how great it was. He had used a heat gun to show us that the heat would not penetrate through the window and that it would keep you home cool during the hot summer days and warm in the cold winter nights. So after awhile, I felt that it was all a lie. It's not hot out but when I stand next to the window, I feel the heat. Also, when the installation of the windows were done, I notice that the paint jobs around the window were chipped because of the installation. I asked if they were to fix that problem because they were the ones that chipped it and they told me that that is not their problem and that we had to fix that ourselves. Another thing that I didn't like about the men working on the windows when they were at my home was that they turned on the air conditioning all the way to 40 degrees F. without our permission. When they were done with all the installations, they stole a couple rolls of our paper towels that were stored in our garage. This window installation was very costly already and on top of that they steal from you. I didn't call their office for the couple rolls of paper but just wanted to warn future consumers to beware of them when they are in your home if you decide to use them. If I could go back in time, I would not have used their service. more

We had bought storm tight windows for our home very expensive but we love them saved money on electric and it keeps the sun from heating our home. We had a salesman sell us doors said they were the same has the windows far from it the heat that comes through that door heats our home and wish we never got it.....Now I have tried to get someone out here and no response.Very expensive mistake... more

The process to get these windows began in November of 2015. They were installed in February, and still don't work properly after 5 months and four trips back to our home. So far we do not have any leak problems, but the caulking is cracking and some of the windows don't seem to be in properly. Don't expect this company to call you, you have to badger them. We have still not had an inspection on these windows. They scheduled one after the first install, however never informed us of the appointment and both my husband and I work full time. Not to mention that when they were originally supposed to come out to install, they called at the last minute to say they couldn't make it, forcing my husband to lose a day's pay since he had taken the time off to be there. This company is a joke, cannot get their act together and overcharges for horrible customer service. more

I have replaced total eleven windows in my home from strorm tight windows. I am very satisfied with this company. Did very good job and I can recommend this company with 100% more

They took our deposit the night of the sales pitch... Good product that apparently cant be installed in our house due to egress codes... This should have been explained prior to our deposit being given... They did try to offer a different kind of window but its not what we wanted... They took 2 1/2 months to refund our 3000.00 even after many many unanswered calls... Very shady manipulative people working there... You can believe all the negative reviews that you read and go from there... They sell overpriced windows and rely on a fake rebate to make the sale... Get more than one or two bids for your job... There are other good window companies out there despite them badmouthing those companies during the pitch... Stormtight wanted 19,000 and we ended up spending 14,000 for awesome windows and a front door with another quality company... more

I had the most unpleasant experience with Storm Tight. It is not an ethical company. It takes your money, and will not come back to finish the work. When the workers came to installed the windows, they installed one cracked window and one wrong type of window; and the rest of them were ok. They told me that someone from the company will come back to replace the two windows in 4 to 6 weeks, and demanded full payment. I paid them in full, thinking they will come back soon. But two months went by no one came back to replace the cracked windows. I called the company numerous times to finish the work, but I had been getting nothing but false promises, run around, and excuses. In fact, the company had such high turnover rate. I had to talk to so many different officers about my story, and on one seemed to know what is going on. Now it has been 6 months, and permit on the window will expire in about couple days. The broken windows are still not replaced. The company offers lifetime warranty on these windows. I wonder what will happen if there is an actual hurricane, and many people's impact windows get broken. Will this company take the responsibilities to replace these windows? I can guaranty you from my bad experiences this company will give you the run around, and excuses from replacing your broken windows. When a company has such high turnover rate, the company is not stable. It can go out of business tomorrow and its warranties would not mean anything. more

We had been looking at windows for our home for some time now. We had a meeting with this company. The salesman was informative and gave us a price. We worked out a cost that worked for us and ordered the windows. The windwos were put in but one of them had a chip on the corner that we noticed. Another window was ordered but we had to wait a month and keep our old window until it arrived. When it did arrive we were given a discount for our trouble. We like the windows it makes a nice upgrade to the rest of the big ticket upgrades we have done and figured that the windows after figuring in all costs and the increase in home value and decrease in our electric bill it was a good investment. more

New windows were put in our house this week. I can barely hear the cars outside, the sun’s heat doesn’t make it inside and they actually close AND latch. I was ready to accept anything compared to what we had, but was pleasantly surprised at how nice these are and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My neighbors have already asked about the sign in my yard and are interested in having theirs replaced too! more

We had 4 windows at the back of the house that had drafty ugly aluminum windows replaced last month and used Storm Tight Windows. It was one smooth operation from get go, from coming to give us an in home estimate, contract, scheduling, and installation. The windows are excellent. The installation was smooth and clean up was perfect. These guys also got the permit from the city, made my life easier! They came in with the best pricing. We are extremely happy with the product and service. Will use them in future when we replace the remaining windows and will recommend to all my friends, enthusiastically! more

I was so impressed from contract to installation how professional their office staff is and how they handled our questions along the way. I was apprehensive about such a large purchase but was convinced after the presentation that Storm Tight was the company for us. They delivered my windows on time, the installers were professional, and they even cleaned up after every window replaced! Thank you Storm Tight, I will recommend you to everyone!!! more
